A Dream Home

This home was such a blessing! The quiet atmosphere was just what we needed to rest after a very busy season. And the kids stayed entertained in the game room.

Absolutely beautiful cabin nestled up in the woods with a flowing river. Everything was clean and perfectly accommodated for our stay. Although we trailer our Harleys up to the cabin, id suggest you leave them outside the entramce.

Great cabin for family

The cabin had plenty of room and seating for 5 adults. We enjoyed the view from the deck and fire pit area. Everyone had fun playing pool downstairs. The kitchen was pretty well stocked although we did purchase a non stick skillet to use. The river was a short walk down the road and was so beautiful! We did a little fishing at the neighborhood parks. Downtown Ellijay is very cute with nice shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

GA getaway

The property is absolutely beautiful!! The scenery is amazing. We were in town for the Elev8 fights and will definately be back in GA. We will stay again. It had absolutely everything we needed. We enjoyed playing cards,corn hole,pool,and shuffle board. Then of course the hot tub was extra nice for my son before and after his fight. But mist important was the call we got the morning after we arrived just to make sure we were good and had no issues that is really important to us. So thank you for checking in and making sure all was well...

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

We actually rented two of the properties in this community and it made for a wonderful background for our holiday. My husband and I, both our mothers and our adult son stayed at Riverview Hideaway. It was perfect for us and had plenty of spaces to host the evening fun and fires with the rest of the family.

Better than advertised!

This place was awesome! We had 4 adults and two children plus a small dog and the home was still big enough to handle more! The wrap around porch is where we spent a lot of our time - also, the outdoor fire pit! The home feels secluded and tucked away, yet it’s close to everything! If I could give some helpful tips I would say if traveling with small children like we did (2 & 4)… bring a pack and play or something for the kids to sleep on…the bunk beds were high off the ground and all of the beds are elevated as well so we were pretty nervous! Also, pretty steep stairs that we were nervous about the kids tumbling down and no baby gate. Again, just an fyi… otherwise - so glad we went and hope to be back some day!!

Perfect!!

We all agreed this house was perfect. Clean, well stocked, easy to get to & great views. All the beds were comfy. We could see and hear the river from the large front porch. The fire pit on the back patio was so cozy. The house provides plenty of seating, inside and out. It feels so far away and yet it is so close to everything. High recommend!

Riverview Hideaway Getaway

Our stay at the Riverview Hideaway cabin was simply outstanding. The cabin was well stocked, with clean linens, towels, more than enough kitchen/cooking utensils, etc. We enjoyed playing billiards downstairs, using the fireplace on the chillier nights, and the sounds of the river while sipping coffee on the deck. Took one star off for cleanliness; we had to hunt down multiple flies that were inside the cabin upon our arrival. But other than that minor hiccup, we had no complaints and had a wonderful time with six teenagers with us. The cabin was close to shopping areas, and a great jumping off point for our visits to Amicalola Falls SP, Fort Mountain SP and Red Top Mountain SP. We have stayed at many cabins, but this is by far the best one we have visited and will definitely be back!

Great Location! Great Rental!

We had a great experience at this property and in dealing with the property management! We had 4 adults and 3 children ages 2, 2 and 5. Everyone was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. We were supposed to have another couple with us, but they backed out at the last minute but would have accommodated them just fine. The cabin is well stocked in the kitchen with pretty much any utensil, pots, pans, bowls, etc. The property management only stocks 2 dishwashing pods, 2 laundry pods, small dish soap, 1 roll of TP in each bathroom and 2 towels in each bathroom and 2 trash bags. They tell you this in the property description which is fantastic because you know ahead of time that you'll need to bring extras of any of those items if necessary. As for the rest of the cabin, the furnishings are very nice. The couches are super comfortable and I'd imagine they cost a pretty penny. They were very nice. Beds were comfortable, clean. Bathrooms were clean and sanitized. As far as property amenities, they have pretty much everything. Shuffleboard, pool table, books, firepit, grill, hot tub (though not shown in the listing) and some board games. The basement game room with TV and bunk room is awesome. Had a great time watching NFL playoff games down there playing pool. Another aspect that is nice is the location of the cabin relative to the gate. I have stayed in the Coosawatee River Resort before at another property that was well into the development. The development is huge. It was about a 10 minute drive just to get to the gate and it was on the other side of the development from the main Ellijay "town". So it was 25 minutes or so to Walmart. This location was about 8 minutes to the main Ellijay shopping/dining area which was really nice. It's nice to get to the cabin, see what you have and what's provided and then make a list and run to Walmart to fill the gaps and it not be a lot of travel time. To sum up, it is a great property and located well within the development. It is pet friendly, loaded with amenities and VIEW IS AMAZING! Not every property in Coosawatee has a view. This one does, so it separates it. Property management is great to work with. All and all, I have zero complaints and would stay here again without hesitation.

The cabin was very nice. Great linens, pillows, kitchen equipment, game room, etc but the upstairs sink would not drain properly. Never talked with property manager, everything was done on line (hence the 3 star rating on that issue).

Family trip

The house was clean, easy checking in. Kitchen had everything to cook a meal. Beds were comfortable. Probably 10-15 minutes drive into town. Enjoyed the game room. We had a great time! We would stay here again.

Amazing!!!!

Beautiful cabin! Was very clean and fully stocked, the team took very good care of us and even called to check on us. We saw a lot of deer in the woods around the property and could hear the river from the wrap around deck. Gorgeous firepit and plenty of space, good cabin for bringing a small to medium sized dog. Very easy to get to, I drive a small car and had no problem making it to the cabin. Located in a central location, ~15 minutes to Blueridge, very close to downtown Ellijay, and near grocery stores.

Very comfortable retreat

Kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the cabin had everything we needed. Everything was in good working order which was refreshing. Furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of seating on the deck. Perfect set up for a dog. Our nephew loved the game room. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing property!

This cabin is extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, everything worked perfectly, and there were so many games to play. You can hear the river from the front porch, which is so relaxing. So much better than what we expected. We enjoyed this cabin, and would definitely stay again!

Loved it

The cabin was great for us. Kids loved the bunk room. We all loved the game room. The kitchen is well stocked. So much outside seating. The TVs aren't smart, so you might want to consider bringing a roku or something if you want netflix or similar.

Relaxing Riverview

We loved this property and would highly recommend it. The place was clean, cutely decorated, had every kitchen item necessary, and the cabin location is very serene. The only trouble we had was having sufficient hot water for showering. We found it was best to staggar the showers. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the beautiful home again.
