We really enjoy the solitude and relaxing atmosphere. The amount of deer around were incredible. The house was great!

We live in an area that is mostly flat, and while we expected mountain hills the drive in was a bit more curvy than we were expecting lol, especially at night. But we adjusted well! My boys loved seeing all of the deer so closely, enjoyed the river, campfire and hot tub. We did day trips to Amicalola Falls and Blue Ridge along with a full day of fly fishing. A great trip all in all!

Fantastic!!

Such a great house! The property has everything to offer and much, much more! Housekeeping did a wonderful job making the home very inviting, the amenities are far more than expected. The river access and views make this property an "all in one". We would definitely stay here again and again!

Lovely, quiet week..

Property was lovely, river access/view was superb. Deer, ducks, geese, and a few very friendly neighborhood dogs welcomed us. Couldn't be happier with our experience.

Beautiful Surroundings!

A Wonderful retreat! The surrounding property offers so many activities on-site. From cooling down in the river, to swinging and enjoying sunset, the firepit, the deer, the geese, hot tub time, etc.! There is plenty to stay occupied directly on property. The house itself is a perfect mountain escape!

A piece of river front heaven

My family rented this home last year and we had a ball. We like the privacy of the dead end road with plenty of room for the family and SUV’s. We tubed, fished, mini golfed, enjoyed the jacuzzi and explored the area to see all the woodland creatures. My family and I love seeing all of the deer and how (almost) tame they are. Again, this was our second time staying in the home and we absolutely loved it. We can’t say enough good things about the home and the area

Birthday weekend

We rented River Daze to celebrate a birthday. Invited several friends and has an amazing weekend. The house was great and we all Loved the fire pit by the river. We would rent the cabin again.

Beautiful cabin but 21 steps to enter. Had a blast. The hot tub was ready when we got there. The river and views were amazing. Was celebrating my birthday with my family and we all loved the place!!!

Family Getaway

This was the perfect location to have a long weekend with our adult children. We brought our own floats and tubed on the river. We found a park drop off about 5 minutes away (by the bridge) and had the best time. We enjoyed all of the amenities with the hot tub and fire pit. I would stay there again.

Was so happy when i walked i to the main kitchen level and saw how beautiful it was. We used the basement only to carry stuff in. It smells so bad down there, could smell it up on main level with door closed, we were all sneezing due to allergies. Rest of house was really great. Absolutley Loved the setting with the heautiful view and sound of the river and privacy. Getting there from the front gate not so fun of a drive, yikes. We were in town for a wedding so were back and forth alot.

Beautiful view

Family has a great time, cabin didn’t look like it was cleaned but we can in the same afternoon as the prior guest left. Maybe the cleaning crew gave it a quick clean. Wasn’t crazy dirty just a few minor issues. Great location, beautiful river side, overall a great vacation.

Great location and amenities

The house is located right on the river as described. The hot tub is awesome for some late night chats. The extra powder room next to the laundry room is great for access. Plenty of space to turn around trailers if you're hauling kayaks up. This portion of the river has good, deep, and slow paced water, perfect for anchoring a tube or yak in.

Relaxation at its best!

There were a few minor maintenance issues but overall, the property was great! Easy access to the river and loved the screened in porch! Dog friendly which was great and our pups loved it too! Just a heads up, there is a new house being built right next door. Thankfully they weren’t working on it while we were there but it would have been a major let down if they were and it wasn’t quiet since that’s the whole reason for going to the mountains

Fantastic location

Fabulous stay thanks bunches for a great weekend. We had great fun our pnly thing that sofas were more comfortable than the beds. This is not a cheap home to rent so i would expect better mattresses. King bedroom upstairs feals like plywood. Double beds in upstairs bedroom very noisy. This is just our suggestion of course everyone has their own preferences.

Cabin was beautiful and pet friendly. However cabin needs a deep cleaning. Cabin was over all clean, but is was dusty which gave us all horrible allergies.

Do not arrive after dark! Dangerous road with cliffs and no guard rails!

It was a beautiful cabin overall but must warn others of the dangers and shortfalls. The drive to the cabin is very dangerous I us at nite and with fog. Was not given info to enter resort till the next day so we had to stay in a hotel the first nite. The drive inside the resort is beautiful the cabin was clean but several short comings where present we had several members of our party get locked in upstairs bathroom due to improper door latch system. Most of doors up stairs where GERRY RIGGED TO WORK. We will dispute the first day we where charged for. The place was beautiful but expect to do use your 4 wheel drive to get there windy Cliffside roads with no guard rails. I'm giving them a 3 star due to no proper communication on how to get in and having to pay for a hotel.
