The house is extremely nice!!!! The views are amazing! The only downside to this house is the road leading up to the house and the driveway. We were on motorcycles and it was very sketchy and slippery trying to get to the house. If you have a suv or truck I highly recommend this place!!!

Beautiful views!

We stay in the area at least once a year and this was one of the best views-if not the best-we have ever had (in 10 years). The cabin was spotless and the staff reached out to ensure our stay was good and to give us an after hours number for the weekend. Highly recommend this cabin!

Great Location! Awesome Views

We had a great time with family at this wonderful home. Beautiful views. House was as described. Great location. Easy drive to the home. Only negative is the grill needs to be repaired (burners burnt out). Kitchen had all the necessities. Kids loved the ping pong table and pool table. The adults loved the jacuzzi. Highly recommend. Would love to come back again.

A little short of luxury

We liked the property! The views were tremendous! There was a minor problem with the thermostat that never got corrected. Was no soap to wash the dishes and some of the silverware was dirty and had to be re-washed by hand. Hot tub was quite comfortable and we even saw a bear near by. All in all it was a great trip, just some of the Luxury of Luxury Lodge wasn’t Luxurious.

We had a lovely family get together. It had been 2 years since we had all been together and we really enjoyed the cabin and the town of Ellijay! The 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms the kitchen the deck with the views it was all perfect!! Thank you so much for hosting our family!

All you need for a relaxing mountain getaway

Location! This cabin is located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. So it's a short drive to get to both locations. After reading the reviews. I was a bit apprehensive to drive up to the cabin with a sedan. It turns out it wasn't that bad. Only a few areas were bumpy and if you took them real slow, the bottom of the car wouldn't scrape the road (which is what you're trying to avoid) The only tricky part to get to the cabin is that if you look at your GPS once you're driving up the mountain, it will show you the proper address. But once you're right in front of the cabin on your GPS, you've already gone too far. The driveway to the cabin is about 500 yards away from it. It's also a shared driveway with another one. The goal is to turn where you see the green "Luxury Lodge" sign. (I had forgotten the name of the cabin so that's on me) Check-in is a breeze, you get the key from the locked box and go in. The inside is very nice, and very cozy but also modern at the same time (granite counter tops, good appliances, etc). You will enjoy the 3 levels and the views on each porch. We enjoyed the game room with ping-pong and pool. We also enjoyed the hot tub, that is covered by the porch above. There are TV's everywhere so the kids can enjoy their Netflix or whatever without hogging the living room TV. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean. Showers on every level. I couldn't be more happy we found and rented this cabin. Will most likely rent again in the near future

Peaceful stay

This is our second visit. We love this place. Log fires, views to die for and comfortable beds. We are also avid ping pong players so the ping pong table is an added attraction for us. We will be back!

Mountains and more!

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our stay! The dog bed for our pups was perfect! We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We went to several wineries, zip lined, rode ATV’s, hiked waterfalls and enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub! This was a much needed vacation!

Beautiful place, difficult to get to

The biggest thing we could tell you is don't try to get there in a sports car or smaller vehicle. Truck, 4x4, heavy duty SUV is what you want. Climbing that mountain at that degree angle, in rock and dirt, very very tough. The cabin itself is gorgeous, comfortable and spacious. Very clean, very relaxing and the views are A-mazing ! The labels and warnings everywhere is a tad annoying, but overall there was nothing to worry about other than getting up and down the mountain.

The view was breathtaking

We wanted to get away for my daughter’s fall break. We live about 450 miles south west of here. There’s only one negative and then I’ll talk about the positives. One negative is that the road leading up to the property is very treacherous and bumpy and unpaved. If you’re not driving a truck, it’s pretty rough. We weren’t expecting that and we were a little shocked as we were pulling up but that is the only negative that we could find. The positives: the view is unbelievable. You’re looking straight at a Set of mountains and you can see the sun rising and setting and the changing colors. You’re in utter peace and quiet because you’re on a dead-end street. The house is big enough easily for three couples or a large family as it has three full bedrooms and three full bathrooms. There’s a loft space for children to play and the lowest level has a ping pong table and a pool table. The deck was awesome. The grill worked great. All the appliances worked wonderfully. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back next fall and probably for longer.

Beautiful house but terrible location

This house is beautiful and clean with a hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. What I didn't expect was the 1.2 mile unpaved drive full of rocks and potholes that we had to travel to get to and from the property. We had also hoped to have a walking path nearby where we could walk our dog and kids but this house is on a cliff basically with only the unpaved road to walk on. The house is beautiful but we wish it was in a different location. We left a day early because we had to take our dog with us to all the restaurants and apple picking because it was such a hassle to get to and from the house.
