We had a wonderful stay over New Years, our families had the best time! The river front is just beautiful! The house is stocked with everything in the kitchen, plus games and puzzles. It was so clean and the host was so attentive and communicative. We loved the hot tub!

This home was beautiful. The property was amazing. We played in the river each day and enjoyed the views! The access to the river was part of the reason we booked here. Very easy to get in from with the small beach next to the dock. My kids loved it! The home was spotless and had everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The host, Brad, was great! Anything you need he is happy to help and easy to get in contact with. We will absolutely be coming back to this rental again.

Beautiful home in a great location. Well appointed with everything we needed. Loved the coffee makers in every bedroom (my kids loved that there was hot chocolate) and Alexa in the living spaces, plus there were guide books with helpful recommendations, great outdoor furniture and plenty of dining spaces. The kitchen had everything that we needed and our dog felt right at home, too. Loved this house so much!

Annual Cabin Trip

This cabin was amazing! This kitchen was the best stocked of any cabin we’ve rented in the past. We enjoyed the beach as well as the deck for relaxing by the creek. Overall the cabin was beautifully decorated with very comfortable bedrooms, enough for our party of 12. We’ll definitely book it again!

We had such an amazing time at The Grande Lodge. It was the perfect size for our family. We went fishing, played games that were provided as well as fed deer by hand in the front yard which was a fun experience. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed to cook every meal (minus groceries). The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The cabin has plenty of parking. It also has plenty of seating - both inside and out. The owners communication was great. We knew what to do upon arrival and departure ahead of time. I have only great things to say about this cabin and Brad (owner). If you are looking for a cabin in ellijay on the river, consider The Grande Lodge… ITS WORTH IT!

Absolutely wonderful

This is truly a wonderful cabin. The home is gorgeous and so thoughtfully designed. The layout cannot be beat for a large family or group. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplaces both inside and out, the hot tub and game room. But the best part was being able to walk straight out to the beautiful river. We brought out kayaks and fishing poles and had a glorious time. The Alexa's for music, well stocked kitchen and coffee pots in the bedrooms made for a truly relaxing and convenient getaway. I cannot gush enough about this amazing place! And I must mention how wonderful Brad was to work with. Very attentive and helpful. Thank you so much!

What a great atay

We had a great time. The house was great to stay and peaceful for all. We caught trout and bass right from the stream the house sits on. I would highly recommend the cabin to others. The mountain bike trails weren’t too far and were also great. Thank you for our stay!

The Best Christmas Ever!

Our family ranging from 65yo - 4yo all thoroughly enjoyed themselves at this Elestay! This house was perfect! The owner has a quick response time for any questions and provided a DELICIOUS apple pie that we immediately baked and ate. He has a service that mails you lost items which saved us a ton of time and money for the valuable items that we left. The home is huge but still feels homey. We are already discussing when to book again. You may need more than a weekend to fully enjoy everything it has to offer.

Wonderful stay over NYE

We had a great time staying at the Grande Lodge! The location right on the river was the best part, and even though it was cold, our kids loved being able to fish right off the dock. The community is also great with lots of activities for kids. The house was clean and very well stocked with extras and things that you dont typically find in other rentals (like flashlights in the bedrooms). The owners have truly thought of everything and were very responsive throughout the stay when questions arose. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Perfect getaway in Ellijay!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. I’m very picky about cleanliness, and this cabin was five stars! Brad was a phenomenal host, and they thought of absolutely everything to make the stay enjoyable. having the ability to trout fish in the backyard was really special. we all agreed that we wish we could’ve stayed longer, and we definitely plan to go back!

Beautiful property!

Such a wonderful stay for our daughter’s senior year Fall break trip. We were able to go with grandparents as well and this home was just perfect. Brad really provided such a well crafted home and experience. The river access is absolutely amazing! We’ve rented quite a few properties in either the mountains or the beach and this one takes the cake. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

Beyond excellent.

By far the best house I have rented on VRBO. Brad is the most organized owner that I have encountered. Everything was clean, organized, directions for everything, and a most beautiful spot on the river. He responds immediately when contacted. The house was beyond our expectations.

Amazing Cabin!

This cabin was amazing! Has everything ready for your stay. Veey clean and everything is up to date. Location is perfect next to a beautiful clean creek with plenty of trout to see. There is an automatic fish feeder on the creek that goes off couple of times a day where you can see plenty of trout. We’ve been to a lot cabins and by far this was our favorite spot. The owner is very nice and communication was great. We are definitely going back in the summer time.

Great house and location!

This is an amazing property that has everything you will need for your stay. We didn’t have the best weather for fishing, but still enjoyed the very peaceful river. The owner is very helpful and responds quickly to your questions. We liked it so much that we are planning on coming back next year.

Amazing rental

This was easily the best VRBO we have rented. The property was beautiful and the pictures really don't do the riverfront justice. The house was well stocked with necessities and the owner has clearly put a lot of time into their handbook and website which made the entire interaction feel very professional compared to many rentals. The owner was also very responsive throughout the trip, and even had an apple pie waiting on us! Would definitely return.

Great family getaway

This house was great and Brad had everything on hand that you could need. Little things like extra paper towels, dish soap, coffee, etc. made the stay very convenient. Our family really enjoyed the wildlife. We caught fish in the creek and saw otters. But, we also had many deer come to visit throughout our stay and saw tons throughout the neighborhood. Overall it was a great vacation.
