The location and host was great. Comfortable and charming. Added delight was the walker for my 1 yr old grand daughter. My daughter in law just loved it. All the adults loved the super nice hot tub!

The cabin was cozy and absolutely gorgeous. It had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. Our kids were amazed with all of the different options of things to do. The host quickly responded to us when we reached out about an item we left behind, and she sent it to us.

I cannot say enough great things about the host Lindsay and the cozy quaint cabin she allowed us to stay in for the weekend. Lindsay is such an excellent host, she is timely in her responses and made check in/out so easy for us. She really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy and perfect. The cabin had a gorgeous view and a perfect swing bed on the back porch where my older girls would not leave, they even slept there in the evenings. Everything was so clean, most places we go to we always rewash dishes before we cook but Lindsay had the place so clean there wasnt any dust or grime on the dishes or silverware which can happen but this was just perfect. Alot of places we stay have no seasoning and crappy cookware. She had everything you could need. The kids had the cutest little chalk wall and play nook. The hot tub was perfect and clean and easy to work. The home was just so perfect and cozy. If you wake up early enough you can watch the deer come in, she has a little pail inside with deer corn so the kids can feed them on the tree stump the night before. It was just so perfect. It had everything we needed and it was lovely, i cannot say enough wonderful things about lindsay and how clean and perfect it all was!!You also cannot beat the private fishing ponds. Our family loves to fish! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back next year I wish i had taken more photos of the lighting and how the front of the home was like a little holiday card!!!

My husband, Mike and I drive up from Bradenton FL every Fall to meet his brother, sister in law and their son and his wife and children in the Blue Mtns. This was our 1st trip since Mike's brother passed last Feb from a brain tumor. We knew it was going to be different but from the minute we arrived we felt at home. The beds were fantastic! The house is laid out in a way the 3 different groups from the family could spread out. EVERYTHING was provided to keep the 3 and 5 year old grandkids occupied. The deer coming up to the porch was magical. It was a fantastic trip that we all needed. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful cabin!

The cabin has a wonderful view of the mountains. It’s easy to get to as opposed to other mountain cabins. Lindsay was just incredible! So responsive and accommodating. She’s the best host I have ever had.

Our family loved our stay at Fawnwood. The deer showed up daily to say hi and hang out. We even had a turkey show up a day or two. Great space and excellent location. We were in town for a baseball tournament and most of the parks we played at were not close, but we didn't mind knowing we had a great place to return to and relax. Lindsay was great to communicate with and provided all needed codes for gates and doors with no issues. Our family highly recommends this property.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

Our group of four adults and three young children had the most relaxing stay here. The house was exactly as pictured and Lindsay was so welcoming and communicative! The kids loved all of the extra fun touches (craft kits, play teepee, block tower) and especially feeding the deer every day! It was an easy drive to several waterfalls in the area and downtown Ellijay.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We came up here to do a family trip for Father’s Day, and it was the most magical and wonderful experience! From the cozy furnishings, to the amazing game room downstairs, and the deer feeding opportunities that the owners have all setup at the cabin makes it truly wonderful.We even changed our plans to spend more time there! But when we did go out it was a hop, skip, and jump to Town, and only 30 minutes to Amaicola Falls. The kids even asked if we could stay here every time we come, and I’m honestly thinking we will!

Look no further.. I had an amazing stay and interaction with Lindsay.Lindsay's outstanding level of service, was what convinced us to book this place. At the time of booking, we were talking to two other hosts andt he other two were not even close to the level of attentiveness and as accommodating as Lindsay. Every question and concerns we had, she answered in a lighting speed fashion and we never felt like we were bothering her with so many questions we had.. She allowed us to check in hours before the check-in time.Gave us suggestions for local activities.The cabin had all we wanted... The kids favorite place was the game room. The view to the mountains was phenomenal, specially during sunset Will definitely refer ad come back.. A real Gem!!
