The place is awesome! Very clean upon arrival, stocked with everything you need to be able to enjoy the setting immediately. Great for our party of 4 adults and 2 smaller dogs. Even had water bowls and a dog bed on the back porch. The only negative I can comment on is the inside lighting, it really needs more light or stronger bulbs. Also the refrigerator water filter needs replacing or removable. We drank the unfiltered with no problems and we are all large water drinkers. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, the river so soothing and the fire pit perfect. We had an absolutely wonderful time and we will return.

Fun at Edgewater Dreams

Six of us ranging in age from five to 75 enjoyed all the things that Edgewater Dreams and the Coosawattee River Resort had to offer. From relaxing in the hot tub to tubing down the river to fishing to swimming and playing putt putt golf and pickleball at the rec center to rocking on the back porch while watching the river and geese, deer, hawks, and other wildlife, we all got to experience some of our favorite things. The cabin is very well appointed with all you need to enjoy a great time in the North Georgia mountains. This was a three generation vacation that we will not forget! You can’t go wrong with Edgewater Dreams!

You need to stay here!

The pictures of this place doesn’t do it justice. Don’t get me wrong, they are perfect pictures, but once you get there you’ll be blown away by the layout and beauty of this place. Right on the river with easy access to the water. My son and I were dropped off at east park with our kayaks and only took us an hour and a half to get to our house. Everything you would ever need for cooking, beds and pillows sooo cozy, and so close to town of Ellijay in case you forgot something. I can’t wait to stay there again. House is absolutely beautiful. We’ve stayed in so many cabins, hotels, and rentals, but this one will be on my list of favorites for sure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Construction on new home across the street.

The inside was very clean and had everything you would need. You could not sit outside in peace. Across the street a house was under construction. The first day there was only 1 person and 1 piece of equipment but the rest of the other days there were 4-5 construction trucks and very load noise. We could not sit out side and enjoy our coffee. We ended up stuck inside because it was so noisy. For the amount we paid I really would have appreciated a heads up or some offer of a discount for the noise. Also the outside could use sprucing up. Cobwebs and leaves all over the screened in porch. You could tell they had been there for a long time. Also I should have checked on location. There was a house a few fight away from it. No privacy. House is great if you don’t plan on going outside.

Best vacay

The river in the back is beautiful. You can dit outside and listen to the sound of the water and watch wildlife gathered around the firepit or in the hammock. Lots of surrounding areas to visit, restaurants, quaint shops, and wineries. It was so relaxing!

Great Cabin Highly Recommend

The location was ideal along the river. Great fire ring in the yard and the house had everything you need to relax and have fun. Hot tub, fully stocked kitchen and a bunch of board games. We will come back!

Edgewater Dream

We were very impressed with our cabin! As we walked in, we had a gift from the Host. How thoughtful! We have stayed in many cabins, the gift was a first for us and meant a lot. Thank you! The paved road to the cabin was awesome! We had snow predicted on our last day. We called to see if we could book an extra night if needed. The Representative was so accommodating! Everything was clean. We needed nothing as far as kitchen necessities. Watching the deer and the geese was cool. Listening to the sounds of the River was very relaxing. There was a Dollar General about 2 miles from the cabin if we needed anything. We have no complaints at all! We immediately decided we wanted to book again in May. Thank you! For sharing your home with us.

The water was nice . The cabin was not functional for our purposes . The indoor furniture was dated and very uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping . Not as pet friendly as advertised - pets not allowed on furniture , disclosed in small print after booking . Did not stay for full length of reservation .

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our short stay in this property. The cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. When walking in you feel the coziness. We were only there for two nights when it was a cooler temperature but this property is great for all seasons. I loved being on the porch and listening to and watching the river flow. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the couch next to the gas fireplace. The hot tub is a great addition to this patio. We would definitely rent this property again when in town.

Easy to access property

Great stay. Very impressed with cleanliness of the inside of the property. Sheets, towels all smelled great. I brought my 2 favorite pots and favorite cooking utensils because I'm picky but the kitchen looked well stocked. The couch is not comfortable at all so I sat on a pillow. The scenery was beautiful and the deer and wildlife were plentiful. I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering on Amazon and it was delivered to a locker (so I never found my merchandise). So don't order anything during your stay for delivery. The outside of the property could use a little more frequent maintenance- nothing major, just cobwebs, leaves and branches, some yard maintenance, a damaged outdoor chaise lounge chair, but it did not affect our enjoyment. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Amazing home

Such a beautiful property!! The online pictures do not even come close to capturing it. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back soon. Also loved being able to tube right in the river behind the house. My son loved it!

Absolutely perfect cabin and location!

We were blown away by this special place! The cabin is located in a gated community on the most beautiful river. The cabin itself is a work of art. The wood details inside, the painted elements, the breathtaking kitchen stocked with all utensils and items to cook were all wonderful! The furnishings were stunning also! And nothing beats the sound of the beautiful river right in the backyard. The multiple screened porches were so nice too in the mornings and evenings. Our kids loved running around in the backyard! The cabin is also so close to everything you need if you have to make a quick trip to the store. This is a slice of heaven, and we plan to come back! We also very much appreciated the sweet welcome gift!
