When we arrived at the house, the trash was all over the ground from the trashcans. We enter into the house and the walls are dirty. The candle holder by the stairs is broken. The couch in the living room has pet hair all over it when you pull out the bed part. The pull out beds only had sheets and no covers. I had to spend my own money to purchase a blanket. The primary room downstairs had a dead bug in the tub, and the shower holder was rusted. We refused to sit anything on it in the shower. The carpet was nasty in that room, and the handles on the furniture were broken. The bedding was clearly old, too. The rooms upstairs had old bedding as well. The carpet was nasty in those rooms as well, and they had a stank odor in the rooms. The walls were nasty throughout the house. The pool table needs new felt and brushed, and the pool sticks had no tops on it to shoot with. Why have this as part of your advertising if you can't use it? The balls were old and color changing, and there was a spoon in one of the pockets. The kitchen had big black ants, and the trashcan lid was broken and didn't fit the trashcan. We saw roaches, one under the living room couch and one in the bathroom upstairs. There was a bottle top under the bench between the kitchen and living room. An ant crawled on one of the girls' arms when she was trying to sleep on the living room bed. There was no light on coming up to the property. There were no instructions on how to lock the door.

It was a great stay and much needed stay. It was for my husbands birthday. Although there was no hot tub as stated, pool table had no chalk, or sticks unusable to nibs on them were broken, no beach towels (we bought some so no big deal). This was a wonderful stay and would love to go again.

Nice Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay. Came to Ellijay for a funeral. Cabin was clean (no bugs of any kind). Would book again! We love the area!

Bugs and broken amenities with little give a care

Roaches. In the kitchen. Was having a family gathering but was embarrassed to have them inside. Changed plans and had get-together outside. Promptly left afterwards. We called. Got someone to come and spray store bought home and garden spray. Amenities were broken and the garden tub had bare electrical IN the tub and a warning sign about the tub grounding out. Fought for days with guest service. Eventually got a partial refund and then ghosted.

Disappointed

Many issues. 1) Live roaches 2) Jacuzzi out of order 3) Dishwasher had standing water in the bottom 4) Dryer wasn’t workin properly and would not dry our clothes 5) Couch and chair upstairs had many stains and ground in dirt. 6) Active termites 7) And to top it all off… We all got bed bug bites. We all ended up with rashes as a result! Something needs to be done and I want some compensation! What we paid for and what we got were very far apart!

Fun Place

The property was well priced, getting to exact site challenging, lots of towels and good ac, there is a insect issue, ants and roaches, lots of living space, tv use is difficult and too limiting, lots of deferred maintenance on floors and entered stairs, There is a humming/pumping sound downstairs. Nice home but a little misleading

The house was pretty nice but my favorite thing was all the deer that just run freely through the neighborhood. I was disappointed to find that the big picture window overlooking the jacuzzi tub looked out at a neighbor's house so it was impossible to open the curtains when sitting in the tub. The hot tub was full of green water and leaves, certainly not clean or useable. The internet didn't work despite we had the password. There are neighbors literally in the backyard so there wasn't as much privacy. And the night we arrived there were only 3 towels. Later we found the rest of the towels wet in the dryer. There were a couple of roaches in one of the upstairs bedrooms and in the master bedroom. Other than those things, the house was really pretty, clean and well stocked with dishes and utensils. It takes about 20 minutes to get in and out of the neighborhood, so when you get there don't plan on just running up the road to the store. This would be a great place to take your food, games, and other stuff with you to just hang out. If we'd have stayed longer it would be great for that. Overall it was nice for our first cabin rental. We will know more as to how to plan and what to ask in the future. Thanks for having us.

Need ACTUAL DIRECTIONS!!! The address for this cabin takes you to the wrong place. We ended up having to ask people in the neighborhood how to get to the cabin and they said that happens all the time. GPS takes you to the wrong location. Cabin was very nice once we finally found it. Those roads are way too dangerous to be lost on. The street signs in the neighborhood are very hard to see and read.

My daughter didn’t live to make the trip. But we made the best out of it.

The gate code wouldn’t work. Attendants said it needs to be updated. We weren’t left an rental ID card so kids couldn’t swim and play put put golf. But we enjoyed the get away

Beautiful view

This was a great property because it was so high up the mountain but the prior guests had indicated that the internet was out and it still wasn't fixed when we arrived. We used our phones as a Hotspot the entire time we were there, other than that it was a good stay.

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay. This was a great cabin and very clean. I would just improve the beds, stained carpets, finish repairs/paint and fix the hot tub and then this would be 4-5 star cabin! Loved seeing all the deer:)

Nice location - NEEDS TLC

The location of the cabin and the cabin layout are very nice. But, the cabin itself is very much in need of some basic maintenance and care. The hot tub that was advertised was filled with green algae. There were multiple areas where paint was peeling off the walls. The carpets and floors were pretty much well beyond their life and kind of nasty. The fridge was about to die and so ran all the time sounding like a jet engine. The beds were ancient and literally the worst. The one in the master you could hear every spring creak at every movement and several of the springs were just flat out broken. I could go on. But, basically for the money wouldn’t recommend. Needs some basic maintenance. Really liked the location though.

Nice house but difficult to find.

House is a good bit far from the gate. Both my husband and my GPS could not locate the house and then we lost service. When given directions it took us to a locked gate and could not exit. So be prepared with accurate directions before arriving!
