Long weekend

The cabin was very musty when we entered but once we opened it up, it was fine. Seemed odd because we were told early check in was not available since a guest was just there that day. The house was nice, kitchen had everything needed. It would have been nice to have had more explanation of places to go within the community. We ended up driving 20 minutes to a pool that we could have accessed from walking over a bridge near the cabin. The deer were fun to watch but the bucket of corn was not refilled so the kids were sad they couldn’t feed the deer. The master bed upstairs does need a new mattress.

Relaxing

The cabin was easy to navigate to. It was comfortable, well decorated and clean. We loved the time relaxing. We spent lots of time admiring the birds and all of the deer. It was so neat seeing them so close. We also took advamtage of the recreation center and olayed mini golf.

We loved it

We booked for a short, 5 day, stay and will definitely extend next time. The cabin is perfect for a family with teens or young adults. We sat on the porch daily and watched deer, soaked in the hot tub, and played pool. Easy drive into town for eating and shopping.

Wonderful Cabin

Everything about this cabin was amazing. This was our favorite vacation rental to date. They thought of everything, from the extra blankets and towels to a fully equipped kitchen. Our teens loved the lower lower that was perfect for them. Would definitely rent again!

Great experience

My wife and I have traveled extensively and stayed in many cabins. This cabin was, by far, the most impressive. Incredibly stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the TVs, etc. I highly recommend any future explorers to contact this cabin owner (she is very responsive to any questions or concerns). L. Perfect cabin!

This cabin is fantastic and Mountain Oasis was great to work with. First, the on-line listing is accurate, and the reviews are spot on. I will echo an earlier review that said this property was in the best shape of any VRBO/ABNB we have ever had. Also, the kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked most nights and found everything we needed, although I still brought my own chef’s knife. The one other review I would echo is that the king mattress is quite soft and collapsing in the middle, such that my wife and I both (who are not large people) had some back pain after the week. We nearly changed rooms because the double/queen on the main floor is more supportive. Everything else is really fantastic however. For mountain oasis, Sherri cleaned the place ahead of our arrival, and it was spotless. Well done! Also, the neighbor next door called to complain that we had a “ vicious” dog and Taylor was super sweet To deal with. There really wasn’t a problem. Our dog never left the property and is super well trained (she’s working on a Master Hunter now) so she responds immediately to verbal commands and we had already set the boundary with her. The lady next store was just looking to complain because Ash barked at her dog when her husband started to walk down the driveway of the property. My guess is that the rotund man didn’t want to do the walk so he came back inside and said he couldn’t because of another dog, and she was frustrated with him and projected it. As I said, our dog never went off the cabin property and returned immediately upon voice command. The neighbor just doesn’t like rentals. So be aware. The neighborhood otherwise is fantastic. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and saw many, many deer!

Pods Annual Mountain Trip

This was a great location for our little group of friends to enjoy each other’s company. It’s easy to get to, near many activities like hiking and wineries, and it’s quaint and relaxing! Had everything we needed!

Deer heaven

We totally loved the place, we actually had deer waiting to be fed right off the deck, we went and bought deer feed. 13 deer at one time, including bucks in velvet. The cabin was in a great location on a dead end, very private and quiet. My only complaint was the king size bed mattress sinks in the middle, they need a new one. Upon arrival I cleaned the greasy stove and one tub on the main level wasn’t cleaned, but I cleaned that too. Overall I would stay again in this cabin

Great property

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Run! Beautiful cabin with lots of deer! Well equipped cabin with all the kitchen essentials! We enjoyed the jacuzzi and watching the wildlife!! The cabin was easy to get to and the location was very quiet. This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation.
