We had a wonderful time. Cabin was cozy, location was perfect, price was appropriate. Cabin has three full bathrooms, so it is comfortable. We went in late December 2025 - early January 2026 during a cold wave. There was no snow unfortunately, but boy it was cold. However, the heating system worked fine. There are a few past reviews claiming heating system does work properly. That was not the case for us.Also, there is a past review claiming noise from RVs nearby. Absolutely not the case. The cabin is nestled way inside resort property, far away from the outside. We heard nothing. Not even during New Year.They still have not fixed the pool table. There is a bump. I played with family (wife, daughter and brother), so we made the bump part of the game (kind of an obstacle). But I can see why that would make a professional or pasionate player mad, because it does break gameplay. That is the only reason I don't give a 5 star rating. Would give a 4.8 if possible.We saw deers every morning, sometimes in groups of 10. Really heartwarming.Last, but certainly not least, I have to make a special mention to Donna. She was our contact during our stay. She is 100% responsive. I have organized quite a few family vacations with VRBO, and Donna is by far the most attentive host. We had no issues with the cabin, but I am sure she would have helped us if we did.
