The property was clean upon arrival and everything was generally in working order. We appreciated that the home was well-kept and organized.However, we experienced an issue with the hot water. When the kids attempted to take a bath, the hot water ran out very quickly and turned cold after only a short period, making it impossible for them to finish. We weren’t sure if this was normal for the house, so we tried contacting the host by phone and through messaging but did not receive a response until the next day.It appears the hot water supply runs out fairly quickly, so we adjusted by taking short showers and were able to manage for the remainder of our stay. It would be helpful for future guests to be aware of this limitation in advance.

The Tamarac Lodge was the perfect pre-Christmas getaway for our family. We were welcomed with a beautiful Christmas tree, light holiday music in a warm cozy cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 6 and even had a welcome basket for our pup. The hot tub was clean and set to the perfect temperature to enjoy during the snowfall. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect Christmas getaway

We recently stayed here over Christmas and it was the perfect place for our family, including our dog. The house was equipped with all necessities in kitchen and they even had extra items for the dog such as water bowl (and much was very thoughtful). The house was clean and in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely go back again in the summer to enjoy the warm weather activities.

Spacious comfortable house

This house was amazing for a girls weekend end getaway! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms and loved the spacious living room and kitchen. Never felt crowded with 7 adults. The beds were a little on the hard side and wish they were queens instead of fulls. But overall we had the best vacation!

Overall it was a great place to stay and good location. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the excessive amount of rules that made us weary of being charged a fine for simply staying there. Example would be charging you $50 if the entertainment system had different settings or hooking up a game console to the tv. This seems excessive and not inviting. The tv in the room had its picture burned out so anything watched was in black and white. Property management company seems cheap, just spend the couple hundred on an inexpensive tv. I would consider staying here again but only if I couldn’t find something better.

Lovely Cabin!

What a great location for a weekend getaway! The house is very comfortable for two families, we played a lot of games, sat in the hot tub and spent a lot of time in the back yard. The neighborhood is fun to walk through to look at all the beautiful cabins. Overall a great vacation rental!

As good as it looks and is described!

We had such a great stay with our two kids (ages 8 and 6), plus our family friends and their nine-year old daughter. The covered outdoor area with a dining table was just perfect for our July visit. We spent most of our time just relaxing out there while our kids spent hours playing kickball on the VERY sizable lawn in the back. The entire experience came at a time when we felt like we really needed a vacation and just needed to have some relaxed downtime with family and friends--this property and its location more than delivered. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful House close to Lake and Town

Bunk bed safety issue, uncomfortable beds, otherwise fantastic.

The top of the bunk bed was assembled incorrectly and typically you should use a low profile mattress for bunkbeds (as we were advised by the mattress company when we bought them for our home). What this leads to is that the mattress in the top bunk of the home has no safety ledge whatsoever. This is a HUGE safety risk and needs to be addressed. The mattresses throughout the house simply weren't comfortable. A simple mattress topper could easily address this. Other than these issues the house, property and experience was fantastic. If they addressed these two issues I'd easily give them a 5 star rating but these two issues severely impacted our stay. Thanks.

Clean, fun, spacious

Place was very clean, the games in the garage were a hit and the shuffle board had no sand - however I called and they brought me sand within 10 minutes. Was very pleased with that. Hottub was in great working order and was a huge hit. Would stay again for sure.

Winter Family Vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was beautiful! Had everything we needed for a little family get away! The game room was awesome, and loved that it was heated for the winter months.

Beautiful Home

The house was beyond beautiful. Furnished and decorated fantastic. Everyone who stayed was in awe. Location was great, close to town but private. Well furnished with amenities. We did have a few struggles but I think they are more property limitations then faults of the hosts. For a larger group we quickly ran out of hot water. The master bathroom has a large beautiful tub but the house didnt have enough hot water to fill it. Also struggled with the stove top, it took over 30 minutes to get a pot of water to boil. We had to turn off the fireplace in order to use the stovetop at a faster speed. None of this ruined our trip, just quirks of the house. The hot tub was magical after snowmobiling.

Great location

We attended a wedding in Suncadia and this house was so close yet it also felt like we were at a cabin in the woods! Fully stocked with everything we could need, the hot tub was AMAZING plus the garage turned game room was so fun! We will be back!

Great home for larger (8) groups!

This home has a lovely, large living area/kitchen/dining/deck/patio area and is great for everyone to be together! The 4 bedrooms are comfortable and spaced nicely apart for privacy. The backyard is fairly private and is in a quiet neighborhood. The home is dog - friendly which is appreciated, and was clean and fresh upon arrival and was supplied with a doggy basket of potty bags and towels. The appliances are newer and in good condition, nice supply of utensils, dishes, etc and the bathrooms were nice. Working with Vacation Rentals was easy and they provided quick responses.
