Family Reunion Trip

Absolutely loved staying at the cabin for a weekend getaway family reunion trip. Perfect amenities and space for a large family get together.

Property was lovely and as it looked in photos save for the lake/reservoir which was dried up for our late July stay. Beds and linens were super comfortable. Kids (6 y/o) LOVED their space both in the basement as well as the little room in the loft. Grown ups also loved that kids had their own space with a good sound barrier.There were some issues with the oven/stove from previous guests but communication with owner was great despite them being on vacation of their own. Be careful of the grill which while very effective got a char on your food pretty quickly, even on the low setting. Third floor shower didn’t work super well, but not a problem as there were three other full bathrooms for use.Rented jet skis down the road at The Last Resort and the guys there were super nice, even guiding us to the best paths on Speelyi Beach.Overall would absolutely recommend this property. A great spot for families or a group of friends. Very relaxing with lots of great restaurants in easy driving distance.

Perfect long weekend getaway

We stay here every year. The house has everything you need to cook and lounge with friends while you take in the amazing view. Decks wraps the house and the hot tub and sauna all share the sweeping view of water. Lots of activities nearby, and just step out the door for a lovely stroll along the lake.

What a fabulous vacation

Our extended family of 13 adults made this our Christmas home for a week in December, 2022. It was not short of fabulous. Caroline was quick to respond and helped us with the minimal issues we had at the beginning of our stay. While the house was super clean, we did find left over toys, socks, and minimal things under beds and couches. Not really a big deal. Could have been likely do to the severe snowstorms they were experiencing prior to our arrival. The house and amenities were so much better than expected. The views and location made for a Norman Rockwell Christmas! Also, Caroline decorated the house with a Christmas tree and decorations which made our holiday so special! The house was very well stocked. Many pots, dishes, popcorn maker, coffee maker, crockpot, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap, and paper towels were plentiful. Much appreciated! Snow plow services were amazing! They helped us get out of an icing situation. Scraping the steep driveway and put a gravel mix on the drive to ease our mobility. They kept the drive usable and clean throughout our icey, snowy stay. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better location, house, hostess to spend our holiday. Thank you, Caroline!

Great views, great outdoor spaces!

We had wonderful family time at this cabin/home! Made a birthday celebration dinner in the extremely well-stocked kitchen, and enjoyed sunsets from the sauna with a view! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to return!

A beautiful summer getaway spot

The home’s setting on the hill above Cle Elum Lake could not be better! It’s easily accessible from the main road by the lake, and the views are outstanding all day long. The AC was cold, and the furniture is comfortable and homey - just like a cabin should be! We used the outdoor grill and gazebo for most evening meals, which made the family experience so valuable. We did not use the basement games, hot tub, or sauna. The new satellite wifi was excellent for as many handheld devices as we brought - and even allowed us to stream the sport games without issue. I highly recommend the home!

Perfect for family get together

This house is clean, has a beautiful view of the lake, and the owner is easy to communicate with. We went with my in-laws and the downstairs was perfect for the kids to hang out and sleep. The main floor and upstairs rooms are large with private bathrooms. The stairs could have been a hazard for our baby but we found a baby gate in the closet. The first night a beat smelled our dinner cooking and came to say hi from a safe distance but it was a good reminder that we were on their land. The beach access is easy to get to and we were very comfortable during our stay. Suncadia’s park is a must for kids and adults.

Great views and lovely home

We had three families stay here for 4 nights and had a great time. The views were amazing and the setup was perfect. The basement was a hit with the teens and the parents enjoyed the outdoor space. The location was perfect for exploring the lake and nearby river.

Away from it all

This was a lovely place in the mountains with the best views! It's absolutely worth the drive. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen a dream to cook in, and the house is beautiful. I can't say enough about the lake view. The owners were communicative and very accommodating and it was a fabulous getaway the entire time.

Winter cabin wedding

What a beautiful spot. We wanted a small intimate wedding for just close friends and immediate family. Somewhere our kids could relax and have fun, somewhere we could just enjoy being together. This is the spot. We got extremely lucky with the weather and had zero trouble navigating. The views are spectacular, the kitchen perfect for cooking for a group, the space large enough to gather when wanted and spread out when needed. The stairs gave everyone a much needed workout, and the kids wore themselves out running from game room to play room and back again. If you have small walkers baby gates would be a must (I even saw one in the loft). The bedrooms are HUGE, and the bathrooms too. So easy to get ready for the big day, and even big enough to rotate kids through showers one after another. Honesty I wish we could afford to do this every year!

Lovely home with beautiful view

Celebrated our family holiday in a wonderful setting. From 75 years old to 16 years old we all had fun!l Itwas a little tricky getting in with all the snow but we enjoyed the hike and got some exercise!

Second stay this year!

We absolutely love this cabin! This was our second trip up there this year. It was magical to be there with the snow and beautiful Christmas decorations. Would recommend to everyone. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you to Caroline for always communicating with us and making the check in process such a breeze.

Wonderful memories made at the most beautiful cabin!

Thank you to Caroline and her family for sharing their wonderful home with us! We had such a fun stay, very family friendly. The views from the hot tub and sauna were fantastic, and the firepit/grill area were great! We loved that there were two King size rooms with attached bath so each couple had a really nice place to enjoy. The huge game room was loved by both kids and adults. It included arcade games, basketball, foosball, and tons of movies. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved our stay and will be back for sure!
