perfect!

We met some old friends of ours for a weekend stay. The place was perfect for 2 couples- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and we shared the common area kitchen. we were too busy catching up to use the hot tub or the sauna. We could have used some more kitchen cleaning stuff (a sponge, scrubber or brush) but we made it work. When we got there the place was immaculately clean. I highly recommend.

Better than even expected!!

Absolutely perfect!! The identical king bedrooms w/your own bathroom were so awesome. Beautiful and super comfy! The shower was amazing, and the sauna and hot tub topped off the stay! I took my mom and my Granny and all the little extras were such a hit. I can’t wait to bring my husband for another long weekend.

Moonlight Magic

Nice little cabin on the side.of the mountain. Close to town and a.very nice restaurant right beside it. Highlight of our stay was sitting in the hot tub late night after a great day hiking. Full moon and absolutely gorgeous views.

Great Getaway

My husband and I met friends in West Virginia for a small vacation. Our stay in Elkins was at these cabins. From the moment til we left we loved it. The property man at her was wonderful and helpful and the cabin was perfect. It was close enough to things but far enough away to feel secluded I would recommend this place for sure and if we vacation in the area again we will return to the cabins.

Description & Pictures not accurate

We were shocked to see the physical condition of the cabin when we arrived. Air conditioner in one bedroom did not work, fan in the room also did not work (did contact the property manager and she did bring 2 other fans). Main room was missing the smoke detector, main door frame as well as french doors to bedrooms were rotted. Pictures showed a Sauna and made it look and sound like there was seperate Sauna in each room when in fact it was one large Sauna seperated by a piece of lattice. Not sure if Hot Tub actually worked because the cover was ruined and removed by the property manger, although she did leave a net to remove any debris from the trees. The description said nothing about parking and that a trailer hauling motorscycles was not allowed. Overall I think that the description and photos of the cabin needs to be updated to show better accuracy of the actual cabin and its amendities. Cabin would be good for a weekend trip but definately not for a week. We did receive some compensation back from the property manager but still very disappointed. I hope that she will use this review as constructive and update the listing.

Charming cabin in the mountains

This is a group of four cabins, perched on a mountainside with views looking east, making for beautiful sunrises. They are decorated simply but with great charm. Bedrooms are spacious. I did not end up using sauna and hot tub but they looked great. About a 5 min drive from Elkins and 5-10 min drive to nearby state park. Loved the outdoor chairs, decking. The property is not large, though, so if you'll need to drive to take a longer walk. Also, there was slightly more highway noise than I anticipated (you can't see it, only hear it). I imagine this isn't a problem when the leaves are on the trees. The property manager Stacey was VERY lovely and responsive. I will definitely choose to stay here again if/when I return to the area!

Nice place - very close to Elkins but still convenient to state parks

The cabin is within 30 minutes of Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls, and Seneca Rocks. It is within 5 minutes of downtown Elkins. The property was better than anticipated. There are four cabins situated on the same location. They are close together and connected by a common walkway. Even with the close proximity, I never heard neighbors once we were inside. The cabin is two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both are laid out in the same configuration. Rt 33 is very close and there is a road behind the cabin but I could not hear either of these while inside. The refrigerator shown in the photos has been replaced with a smaller model but it is plenty big enough for a visit of a few days. There is no dishwasher but dish soap and a cleaning sponge were provided. The sauna worked well and heated up very quickly. The hot tub got warm enough but the jets were not operating properly. There was a propane gas grill and it worked well. The property does have a fire ring but it is shared amongst all cabins and there was usually a car parked right in front of it so we did not get a chance to use it. Everything considered, I would certainly choose to stay here again.
