"Our experience was very disappointing for several reasons: The bedrooms did not have available closets; all of them were locked. The pool was closed, which significantly affected our stay. We were not informed that the wind in the area was extremely strong. When we turned on the outdoor fire pit, within 10 minutes the chairs caught fire. We moved away for safety, and once the wind calmed down, we were able to put the fire out. Because of this situation, we were forced to purchase new...

"The cottage is absolutely adorable! Perfect for our little Mount Airy/ Mayberry getaway! The cottage is just around the corner from Wally's Station & the Squad car tours. The town is a short distance away. We walked to downtown easily. (ages 62). The cottage has so much character and charm. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. The living room was also comfy & cozy. The front porch is a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will be back! ...
