Property was clean and the scenery was awesome. Would have loved to be able to use the lake, ie fishing. It’s the only real feature of the property. Beds were hard, tv too small. But we had a great time and overall enjoyed our stay.

Charming lodge! Well cared for - spotlessly clean - stocked with all essentials to the 10th degree!

We were in the area to hike. This location is perfect…. Except you don’t want to leave the property! High quality bedding & amenities. loved the huge screened in porch with excellent views of the lake surrounded by woods. Very walkable little subdivision!Close to several great hiking areas like Buttermilk Falls, Hemlock Cliffs & O’Bannon State Park to name a few. Hosts are very caring and respond immediately!In all our years of using VRBO this sweet lodge is in our top two!

Always Love Coming Back

Spent a few days here for family Christmas nearby. We've stayed here several times before and it almost feels like coming home. Love the area, the beauty of the lake and the quiet neighborhood. Our adult kids also love coming here-we can spend time together and with nearby family. Susan & Ron are excellent hosts with everything you need provided. Cabin is always clean and welcoming. Great communication. Thanks for another great stay. We will be back!

Perfect getaway

We came for a music festival and this home was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Having our morning coffee while seeing the river from the poech was so perfect. We saw turtles, a bald eagle and blue herons during our stay. Everything was super clean and well stocked with everything one would need for a stay. Def would stay here again. The owners are quick to respond to any questions you may have and very nice. Perfect hosts.

Weekend cabin stay

We stayed the weekend for a family get together at a family members house on the same lake. It was convenient and spacious with things to do for the kids in the house on our downtime. Great location and beautiful view of the lake with lots of birds, turtles, and other wildlife. Very peaceful cabin setting!

Friends Reunion

The property was just as described, perhaps better! Very comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked for preparing own meals, pleasantly surprised. The screened in porch was just as the hosts described. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there early morning with juice and enjoying the lake, boaters, and wildlife in the evening. This area is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful! I did not leave property from check-in to check-out!! Made for a perfect getaway with friends, as summer comes to a close and school resumes. I would return to this cabin annually, if possible.
