Great Location

We visited the area for wine tasting and the house was a perfect location. It was as pictured and had a well stocked kitchen. We spent the evenings sitting outside and enjoying the peacefulness. Overall great experience, and would definitely stay again!

We started here for the weekend to check out the wineries. The house was perfect and they views were amazing! Ilan was very responsive and helpful. Hope to go back soon!

Beautiful Birthday Getaway

Wine country tour

The home is well designed and bedrooms are spacious with nice appointments. The Arizona room is especially nice in the early morning was the sunlight warming the room. We would hope to get back again some time in the Spring when the high desert would some greenery. The land around the property would be beautiful.

beautiful and relaxing property.

we had a great time . really, really nice house. we hope to visit again some time when we can spend more time. everything was very clean and comfortable. It didn't bother us, but it is probably time to clean weeds out front around the bricks and the air conditioner area. outside it was so quiet and comfortable. what a pleasure. definitely would stay again.

Peaceful SW-style ranch home in wine country

The home was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beautiful open area. We went wine tasting, hiking and road our side-by side exploring beautiful trails. Exceeds Expectations

This property is amazing. If you haven’t been to this part of So. AZ don’t miss the opportunity. This is a gorgeous house that is blissfully peaceful. Great host! A thing to note, the road to the property is dirt/rocks (along with most winery drives). Don’t bring a low profile vehicle, gets a little hairy especially when it rains.

Beautiful, natural setting, expansive views, and safe place to relax!

This spot became one of our favorites as soon as we set foot on the property. It is a large, bright home, and very reasonably priced for how much it offers. It’s a great, safe neighborhood for jogging with lovely vineyards right down the road. There is a wonderful little courtyard outside with an incredible view. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped. It was everything we needed and more. Ilan, the owner, was very kind and generous as well. We are excited to return to this spot as soon as we are able! Thanks again.

Second stay just wow!

My second stay in this beautiful, secluded house situated on twenty acres in the beautiful wine and cattle raising grasslands of Sonoita / Elgin was just as spectacular as my first stay. The furnishings of the house match its exquisite architecture. I got to watch the long-horn cattle family again frolicking and ranging and even drinking in a trough adjacent to the house. Great photo opportunity! You will also see plenty of birds, hawks, and a rabbit or two. You will no doubt enjoy your stay in this immaculate house situated on this wonderful property.

Great for dogs

My dogs loved the property and had plenty of room to run around. The house is basic, didn’t have a blender or a can opener that worked. Overall decent furnishing, but a very cold house. The coffee maker was old and did not make good coffee, but they had a French press that worked. For this price outdoor area with real furniture would have been nice, instead of having to drag portable camp chairs in and out. Tap water was wonderful tasting!

Great quiet property with awesome mountain views!

The property is private and very quiet, which also means it is close to nothing except for the local family vineyards. If you are visiting Sierra Vista or Fort Huachuca, please keep in mind this property is a 35 minute drive to the Buffalo Soldier Gate and further to main Sierra Vista. The miles are deceiving because it takes 15-20 minutes just to get out to the main road from the country roads this property is on. Overall the property is nice. Cleaning was something to be desired - weeds prevented us from using the front door, bugs in master bathroom and pet hair on the beds and furniture. The property manager communicated well and offered a slight refund for the options. If you are a coffee drinker, they offer a traditional coffee pot that takes over 30 minutes to brew. If you have never been to the West before then this property offers great mountain views, a beautiful sunrise out back and sunset in front along with cows, steer, rabbits, deer, etc. There is no door on the master bath to the bedroom so it is very bright in the morning which could be an easy fix by adding a shade to the block window over the tub. Overall, this is a nice property that needs a little TLC to make it a 5-star type property.

Wish we could live here

This place was AMAZING!! We went here for our “honeymoon” , we eloped near by and stayed here with our 2 young kids for a few days after. It was the most peaceful place and we hope they will have us back !

Very rural and peaceful setting. Expansive views of mountains. Essentially no neighbors except a few longhorn cattle. Very easy driving distance to wineries. The house is comfortable, well maintained, and stocked with everything we could possibly want. The owner is very responsive.

Wow!

Wow – just spectacular! A beautiful house situated on twenty acres in an area of like sized properties in the beautiful wine and cattle raising grass lands of Sonoita / Elgin. The furnishings of the house match its exquisite architecture. Have you ever seen a bull and a cow (the female – yes, they have horns too) with their young together up close? You just might. Now imagine watching this singular family frolicking and ranging on what must be hundreds of acres on the surrounding properties. They might even come to a drinking trough adjacent to the house providing a closeup photo opportunity. You will also see plenty of birds, hawks, and a rabbit or two. You will no doubt enjoy your stay in this immaculate house situated on this wonderful property.

Elgin Escape

Nothing short of excellent. Top notch owners made a very accomodating stay. Peaceful is an understatement. The home and property were absolutely beautiful. We were sad to leave, but we will be back soon!
