"The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and has a delightful secluded back garden. It is located in a beautiful part of rural Crete with magnificent views of the White Mountains. We particularly enjoyed doing the many local walks. Booklets and maps were provided in the cottage and made following the trails very easy. There are many bars and restaurants in nearby villages which provide very affordable and delicious food and a very warm welcome. Not to be missed is a visit to nearby Vamos...

"Wir haben die Zeit in Marias Haus sehr genossen. Ein perfekt ausgestattetes, gepflegtes, sauberes Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Die zwei Terassen und die Außendusche runden den Wohlfühlfaktor komplett ab. Wer himmlische Ruhe sucht und trotzdem nicht gänzlich von der Zivilisation abgeschnitten sein möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Dorf in schönster Berglage besticht durch sein angenehmes Klima. "On recommande vivement cette maison pour passer un agréable et authentique séjour en Crète.Manos, le propriétaire, nous a fait un super accueil avec des produits locaux et un livret qui regroupe plusieurs endroits très beaux pour découvrir l'île.Concernant la maison, le point fort est l'extérieur avec la piscine entourée de plantes et d'arbres (citronnier et palmier) ainsi qu'un très bel olivier. "The house is very confortable, with all the the things you could need and George and Eva are the best hots you can imagine. When we arrived they were waiting for us with a delicious mousaka and the fridge and the house were full of food and supplies. Creta is a wonderful land with wonderful people, this has been our second holidays here and that is for sure that we'll retorn. George and Eva thanks for everything!"

"We stayed here for 11 nights in June and it was fabulous. We were greeted with a homemade moussaka which was a nice surprise. The property is spacious and the roof terraces (3 of them) were fantastic. The beach is just a pleasant 5 minutes walk (and there's a bar on the way). The owners were friendly and very helpful."
