"The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Saying my fiances stay and mine was amazing at this place just doesn't do it justice!! It's exactly as pictured! We had so much fun! "If you love nature this place is perfect! Quiet little oasis in a very secluded area perfect for family gatherings or just couples. This was actually our second visit! We loved the seclusion, private beach and surrounding National Forest area. So many beautiful trails and sites to see in this area of Alabama and not enough time to get them all in. We’ll definitely be back again and would suggest friends and family to visit as well 😊❤️"

"Very nice place on a quite cove of the lake. Nice double decker dock. Everything was clean and well decorated. WIFi didn't work while we were there but we didnt care. Never turned on a TV or needed the WIFI the whole stay. We were out by the water or on our boat the whole time."

"For posterity, I'm posting exactly what I sent the property managers prior to our stay. "The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem."
