"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

Es liegt an einem steilen Berg auf 1.200m Höhe, empfiehlt sich also zum Akklimatisieren zu Beginn oder auch wieder am Ende einer Tour durch Costa Rica. Die Anfahrt lässt sich auch ohne Allrad bewerkstelligen, ist aber etwas steil. Dafür entschädigt die Aussicht. "This property was built exactly as the pictures show. You can hear the ocean waves with the doors and windows closed. There is an A/C wall unit in each room and not in the open living space. The breeze blows through the house well with the windows open. This is how it was when I arrived. The waves and breeze, just beautiful. There is obvious natural wear and tear inside and outside of the property that is not shown in the pictures; loungers in the pool missing paint, rusting on metals inside due...

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."
