Amazing Stay :)

Experience was great. Owner Marcus was very communicative throughout process, and provided detailed directions on how to arrive. Property Manger Cynthia went out of her way to meet us near highway as we arrived after dark, and the dirt road is a bit tricky if you don't know where your going (very easy once you see in daylight). Place was fantastic and met all our needs,. We also had entire property to ourselves as the other units weren't rented at the time of our trip, making it extra enjoyable i think. Would definitely go back and hope to be able to rent it again on an upcoming trip

Lush tropical oasis with rooftop patio, minutes to beach.Spacious apartment with king sized bed, kitchen and dining room. A bit remote but quiet and tranquil.

Perfect Casita!

The property is well-located, secluded from the surrounding roads with lovely landscaping, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay near Cerritos Beach. Our favorite part was the sun deck above our room with lounge chairs and a great view. The hosts provided everything we needed, including purified drinking water and beach towels. We would definitely come again!

The property, the towns, the pool- all perfect! The property manager met us on the main road to ensure we found the property correctly and she was super helpful throughout the week with suggestions. Thank you for the stay and your hospitality!

One of a kind oasis

I can only agree with the other reviews. Secluded and beautiful. I lived the rooftop lounge where I had my morning coffee watching the sunrise and the whales. Sunsets were equally impressive. Yes you can see both from here. King bed was so comfortable we ended up getting at least 9 hrs of sleep each night while the sounds of the ocean ensured we fell asleep quickly. Awesome kitchen equipped with everything we needed. If you are planning a trip to this area, stay here, period!

Paradise Found

What can I say.. Marcus and Kaari are beautiful people. Very accommodating. After I day we felt like we knew them for ever. Our casita was very modern with beautiful views . The rooftop is great and has amazing views of the ocean. The pool is awesome with a waterfall , so cool. Great place to stay, friends for life.

Great location and vacation property

We stayed for a week at Marcus’ property and had a fantastic time. The pool and rooftop was awesome during the day and at night. Close to great spots to eat and a short drive to Cerritos beach!

Pescadero Paradise!

Casa Cascada view casita is maravilloso! It is set among palms, hibiscus, and bougainvillea. It feels very private and safe, and like it is your own lovely oasis. We were greeted by Cynthia, who was super helpful and gracious with her time showing us around the place, making us feel at home. The villa itself was clean, stylish and spacious. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the kitchen is well stocked and the views from the window as you make coffee are beautiful. I taught on Zoom all week, and the WiFi worked great. The rooftop deck was incredible for watching sunrises above the mountains, sunsets on the ocean...but our favorite was the stars at night! SO magical!! We even saw an owl one night, chilling with us in the starlight. But the best part for us was the pool. We could cool off during the day or have a proper night swim, floating in the dreamy warm water under the Baja sky. It was perfecto!!! Gracias!!! Mucho Gusto ❤️

Great Place, loved it.

Beautiful private yard and new updated accommodations. Pool, waterfall, and comfortable seating area. Minutes away from beach you can walk for miles. Famous Cerritos beach is just a 5 minute drive. Todos Santos is on 15 minutes up the road. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Living Like a local

Property is fabulous. You get to drive down this little dirt road off Hwy19, 2 minutes from the community of El Pescadero. You end up after 5 minute drive at this enclosed palm tree oasis that is absolutely beautiful. Just like advertised. Owner was absent when we stayed there but we were greeted by a very professional property representative, Cynthia who provided access keys, information about the property, and surrounding community. My wife and I stayed 2 weeks with pool waterfall, and beautiful plantings all to ourselves. There are actually three other units and the owners Casa as well. You could have an incredible family or friends type reunion at this location, or just quiet time like we had. Any help we needed, Cynthia was a call or email away with immediate responses. We were very impressed. The inside of the Rentals are new, modern, up to date. Absolutely beautiful. The sun sets from the shared roof top patio were breath taking. The pictures we took home were unbelievable. Thank you Marcus for creating such a beautiful place to share with others.

Amazing stay!

We stayed at Casa Cascada from feb 12-18th 2020 and from the moment we got there until we left we enjoyed every minute. Very private and secluded property with amazing views. We ended up being the only ones on the property for the entire stay which made it even better. Will definitely look into staying here again in the future.

We had a great time at marcus’s place Loved the very comfy king bed and huge shower Our son slept on the futon and was quite comfy too Great big kitchen and we loved the rooftop patio for yoga, ocean sunsets and happy hour The pool is lovely with the waterfall was nice They had plenty of beach gear and it was very close to Cerritos where all the good surfing is

Baja Bliss

As good as they are, the photos for this property do not do justice to the incredible experience that Marcus Taylor has created at his Pescadero oasis. Our stay lasted four weeks, and each day brought a new appreciation for the thought that went into the place. The casitas are comfortable, clean and stylish, with modern amenities (gas stove, microwave, spacious shower, Netflix, etc.) and tasteful Mexican art; in ours, each day started with perfect Baja coffee while staring out at the pepper and basil fields and the blue Pacific. The spacious pool features a rock waterfall that trickles on command; you can sit near it in the water, swim, float idly, drink a beer in the pool, hook up your music to the speakers over the bar, read on the lounge chairs, couch or nearby hammock, strung up in the shade. The property is loaded with cacti and different types of native palms. Extravagantly colored birds flit from tree to tree, chirping pleasantly. During our stay, my wife captured pictures of a hummingbird nest, with mother and chiclet-sized eggs. The spectacular roof deck is perfect for breakfast, sun-bathing and watching sunsets; I was up there with a scotch or a tequila almost every afternoon. The location is basically perfect. Cerritos Beach, where you'll see surfers (lessons are available and affordable), Mexican families, and toddlers padding around in the shallows, is a 5-minute drive through the farms and desert scrub. Todos Santos, with great restaurants and shopping, is a 10-minute drive up the highway. La Paz is maybe an hour or so. Best of all is the proprietor, Marcus, the perfect host. Cheerful, welcoming, laid back, he somehow manages to be totally available and yet utterly respectful of your privacy. He's rightfully proud of Casa Cascada, and more than anything he wants you to enjoy it as much as he does. Everything is unforced. A couple nights he grilled yellowtail, which we ate near the pool. One afternoon I went to local baseball game with him. These things just happened. Other times we barely saw him unless we needed something, and then he was right there. My wife and I were so inspired by our stay that midway through we went out and started looking for our own piece of land to build a house and try to create our own fantasy down there. Marcus helped us see what was possible.
