Las vistas desde la habitación es lo que más nos encantó. El personal muy amable. La pega es que la recepción no es 24h por lo que si necesitas algo en la madrugada te tienes que aguantar hasta la mañana.

Hablan y presumen de resort y para el elevado precio de la habitación comentar que salvo la ubicación del hotel, la habitación no podía ser peor, con humedades en el baño, polvo en la habitación, sávanas sucias y sin servicio de habitaciones. En 3 noches que estuvimos no nos hicieron la habitación....

Buenas vistas en las cabañas
En el entorno es de lo mejor, la habitación con vistas al mar merece la pena, perfecto para una estancia un par de días en La playas de las cabañas. Limpieza diaria y agua caliente en una ducha más o menos cómoda. Como inconveniente, claramente el acceso,desde donde te deja el taxi se ha de bajar a la playa y atravesarla andando. El desayuno que ofrecen es una vergüenza y por último y como en todos los hoteles de la zona la wifi no funciona en ningún momento. Llegamos a las seis de la tarde y no tenían la habitación preparada por lo que tuvimos que esperar, eso nos permitió negociar un check out a las dos de la tarde sin ningún problema.

Clean and comfortable stay. Staff friendly and helpful. A few metres from vanilla beach so great for swimming and lovely views of the sunset.

We have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and we had a wonderful experience. All the staff were accomodating and friendly. They make sure to meet your needs. We have stayed in a room fronting the beach and the limestone cliffs, every morning as we open the door, the view is just fantastic! Only thing is, there is no shower caddy in the bathroom so there is nothing to put away your bathroom stuff like shampoo etc. Also, no fridge and no tv. Tv is not really a big deal to us coz we spent most of our time doing tours and swimming on the beach. The internet connection is great. Mcdonalds is just around the corner. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this hotel.

Orange Pearl Resort
We landed into Puerto Princessa Airport where hotel staff made arrangements for a driver to pick us up. Took my wife and three girls so it costed me $700 pesos each. What they didn't tell us was the van we chartered was a ride sharing van. That meant we had to share the 11-passenger van with 15 other people. I didn't mind at first but the driver stopped several times to pick up and drop other people off along the way. They squeezed in people even though there were no more seat belts. Our 5-hour trip to El Nido took us 6 hours. It included one rest stop for lunch and a restroom break. We arrived at Vanilla Beach where the Orange Pearl Resort was located. We contacted the front desk where they sent two porters (hotel staff) to carry our luggage to the beach. It was about a 10 minute walk. The porters were very hard workers carrying our heavy luggage so make sure you tip them well. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms but the Wi-Fi in the lobby was strong. They had free breakfast every morning. Typical Filipino dishes. Unfortunately they ran out a lot of the food items on their dinner menu. It was a blessing in disguise because the best food was in downtown El Nido Beach. Just rent a tricycle driver (average 150 pesos) and tell them to take you into town. It was a 10 minute bumpy ride but was part of the adventure. I'd definitely stay here again where the beach was only a few feet from the resort. It's also the best location for the sunsets.

Perfect location! Just make sure to make arrangements for pick up at McDonald’s with the hotel to get help/assistance with your bags! Transportation will not be able to drop you off at the hotel! I’d definitely stay here again!

This property is not reachable by vehicle. You must walk about ten minutes and actually carry your stuff while wal,king on the beach for about five minutes

We did not have clean water for almost the entire stay, both in the shower and in the sink it came out very cloudy, they told us it was because of the rain but the days went by and it was not solved. The wifi didn't work either. I believe that both things should be warned to the guests prior to booking.

Beachfront property. Excellent view from our room. The staff is great. You have to walk quite a bit from where your transport will drop you off. It is difficult to walk on the beach with a luggage. Maybe arrange a pick up from the hotel when you arrive.

Please stay away from here
We booked 3 rooms. They didn’t mention it’d be 2m away from construction side literally night and day... drilling on Christmas Eve till late... bathrooms were old, moulded and dirty. There was no water on 2 days out of 4 of our stay, we were told to use bucket, it took them 40mins to provide bucket although they knew we were down with food poisoning and needed water urgently, no help how to get water into buckets... after 2 days we had to vacate one of rooms as they were painting room next door and the paint odour was unbearable... they said we would get compensation for room cancellation but no further help on this and we haven’t got any reply to emails... lady at reception Nodded all the time with no help, we didn’t get to see any manager or some kind of supervisor in 4 days of our stay there... breakfast was so so, although on our last day we had to wait over 30mins for breakfast although we notified hotel and restaurant, we will be having early morning check out, so breakfast arrived when we needed to leave hotel... restaurant food was ok on 1 evening, another was terrible... 3 different dishes over salted and impossible to eat... instead of 2 pasta dishes they brought 4 (although we only ordered 2!) and forced us to pay for all salty and extra dishes... girl in restaurant seemed the only friendly person there. Guys with carrying luggage were ok too. Nice views, although beach very rocky. I’d not stay there even for free, very bad experience

Hotellets største plus er beliggenheden, som er helt ned til stranden. Ellers ikke meget godt. Simple værelser - ingen skabsplads, intet tv, ingen safeboks (selv om der i beskrivelsen står at der er). Vi var 3 m/k på et værelse. Ekstra sengen bestod en madras på gulvet I forhold til prisen lever hotellet slet ikke op til forventningerne. Man er ved at bygge til hotellet, hvilket selvfølgelig giver er del støj. Da dette jo nok stopper på et tidspunkt har jeg ikke taget dette forhold med i min vurdering. Stedet er svært tilgængelig - enten via grusvej, hvor der er en meget stejl bakke - bør ikke benyttes, men vi fik anvist den vej af vores chauffør. Gå til hotellet via Vanilla Beach (MC Donald). Denne vej kan man "nøjes" med at slæbe sin kuffert gennem ca. m 300 strand. Hvis højvande kommer man til at gå i vand det sidste stykke. Jeg kan ikke anbefale hotellet.

Like: the location, right on the beautiful beach. Dislike: dirty bathroom with brown iron smelly water. Sewer flies and ants in bathroom. Grumpy receptionist. Poor breakfast. Unfair price promise about laundry service. Poor WiFi that you need to log inn to over and over again. Very hard to reach the place, especially with luggage. Bad value for money! I expected more for this price. Sorry, wont recommend for single travelers.

Currently undergoing renovations. As a result very hard to find the hotel as half of it was all boarded up. You will have to walk approx 5-10 minutes to get to the hotel reception from where tuk tuks drop you off at Vanilla Beach. This means walking a few hundred meters along the beach with all your bags. The beach itself however has spectacular views and there's some good little beach shacks and other hotels for good food and cocktails. The buffet breakfast was sad. The room was very sad and I got sick from the air con in the room. If you're paying to stay on this beach pay extra to stay somewhere nicer

Meravigliosa posizione e spiaggia. Pessima gestione. Ingresso dell'hotel pericoloso e fatiscente. Pulci,zecche e formiche nei bungalow, richiesta di disinfestazione vana. Wi-Fi inesistente anche nelle aree comuni. Colazione poverissima e richiesta di pagamento x una fetta di pancarre' in più. Increscioso furto di 200 USD dal cassetto della reception (offerto come cassaforte) e negato dalla manager.

El Nido visit
The place was too far from the main street. It takes 10-15 minutes walk. Also it was hard to access during high tide. Bed was very uncomfortable, it was a box spring. Food was fair. Scenery was good. ‘‘Twas by the beachfront.

Much to be desired
The staff were relatively friendly but the resort was under construction. The airport shuttle was not free and the wifi only worked intermittently if you were in reception. You need to carry your luggage quite a distance to the beach and then on the sand so ask for help in advance. We had to ask 4 times to get a garbage bin and you only got 1 towel per person for your entire stay. The room smelled musty and mouldy and could be cleaner. The beachfront location is the only redeeming feature.
