La propiedad ofrece algo muy diferente. Año que ofrece. La caja de seguridad no funciona, no tuvimos servicio de TV en ningún momento, no tenía ventilador . No permitían ni llevarse una fruta para el snack. El desayuno muy regular.

El hotel tiene una vista hermosa, de postal. La limpieza y atención es buena. Mi único tema fue el wifi que era de muy poca y mala recepción, muy necesario para mí que estaba trabajando.

todo muy bien a pesar de la distancia al centro tiene unas vistas espectaculares. se puede ir en taxi que ellos mismos te piden. las habitaciones amplias limpieza impecable desayuno bueno solo que cuando hay mucha gente demoran en reponer pero tiene lo q la mayoría consume. el agua caliente para el mate a cualquier hora y sin caras largas. son todos muy atentos. te ofrecen tours y los precios son igual q en agencias. solo como sugerencia deberian tener mas horario con la cena ya q no hay nada cerca para salir. pero la comida esta buenísima.

Es un hotel que tiene unas vistas increibles. Nos dieron una habitacion que olia mucho a humedad pero enseguida nos la cambiaron a otra. El desayuno puede mejorarse. No habia mucha fruta o mas opciones. Tardaron mucho en reponer lo qur faltaba y pedimos. La gente de recepcion muy majos.

Hotel con bonitas vistas y alejado del centro
El hotel tiene excelentes vistas a la bahía y al lago. Las habitaciones están amplias y cómodas, sin embargo el sonido que hace el minibar no deja dormir ( la tuvimos que desconectar por la noche). La vianda que compramos, era un sándwich de jamón serrano, el cual estaba cortado de una manera muy tosca, creo que es mejor comprar la vianda en otro lugar. Es un hotel que está a 30min caminando del centro de la ciudad.

Increible servicio!!!
La relación calidad precio del hotel es increíble. El servicio fantástico y accesible a todas las necesidades de excursiones e información de actividades. Que no esté en el main strip de Calafate es lo de menos. Y la vista del lago Argentino es sensacional!!!

Excelente la atención del personal de recepción. Juan y Mercedes notables!!!!!, dispuestos a solucionar todos los planteos. La habitación muy cómoda y limpia (suite), y la vista magnífica. Quizás un poco retirado del centro pero en 5 minutos te consiguen un taxi. Excelente servicio y atención.

Okay Stay
The hotel is nice but there is no AC and it gets VERY hot in Calafate in the afternoons during summer. There’s no AC in the lobby either to be able to cool off. The bedrooms could be updated as they are a little outdated and so is the bathroom.

Modern and comfortable with bad parking lot
Comfortable, modern hotel. Professional and courteous staff. Road leading up to the hotel is muddy and full of holes. Parking lot is a mud pit, therefore, you have visitors tracking mud throughout the hotel. It seems incomprehensible that a higher quality hotel like this would not put some gravel in the parking lot. There was no chef the first night we arrived so only snacks and pizza were available.

Beautiful common spaces, delightful staff, hot and simple rooms and noisy birds and dogs (no fault of Terrazazs ;) but would stay here again! Would be helpful to have a car (we did) as is a little out of town center.

Beautiful views, walk from town
The hotel has beautiful views from every room. I stayed here twice, the first time on the bottom floor where I was in a huge room with a gorgeous risen jet bath (perhaps I was upgraded) and the second time on floor 1 in an older smaller room. Some of the staff are more helpful than others, I became very ill during one of my stays and one guy was really helpful and sent a fruit plate to my room after I requested some basic food (room service isn’t normal here). However, my request for medical assistance wasn’t really acted on which was poor... I believe that if a guest is ill the staff should do everything they can to get them help and find a doctor. Mostly positives otherwise... The guys in the kitchen are really great. I’d suggest having dinner here for the view! It’s a walk from town which I didn’t mind, but it’s about 20+ minutes so keep in mind if you want to stop into the hotel often or have a quick overnight trip... there’s not much around the hotel.

Nice hotel but a little out of town
Lovely views and very clean. Staff very efficient. The major issue was the location from the centre of town unless you wanted to take a cab or had a car. Not an easy walk.

Great View - Bare Bones Boutique
The Good: Terrazas del Calafate boasts gorgeous views of Lago Argentino. The included buffet breakfast was a very nice spread and much more than we expected. The dining room was very light and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful in planning our excursions and giving directions. The bed was very comfortable (firm) and the towels were larger and thicker than normally found in hotels. The view from our room was lovely. The hotel was quiet, but we could hear people through the walls, so it depends upon your neighbours. Request a room on the same floor as reception for the best view. The Bad: I selected this hotel because it scored very high in terms of cleanliness. There were other people's hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The room was a little run down. There are some details missing in terms of comfort such as only one glass in a double occupancy room and no tissues at all. We started with two bars of soap, one of which was removed and not replaced forcing us to use the same soap for the shower and our hands. There is inappropriate rock/ pop music being played during breakfast, which is grating first thing in the morning.

Fiz uma reserva para 2 quartos quando cheguei ao hotel as mesmas haviam sido canceladas. Em função de reservas para "tours" que tinham como origem este hotel me vi obrigado a aceitar um quarto triplo. O controle de temperatura dos quartos não funciona. O café da manhã é muito fraco. O hotel é distante do centro e o mesmo não disponibiliza qualquer transporte para os hóspedes.

Perfect Patagonian view
Beautiful. A little bit of a walk to town, but a beautiful walk through Patagonia. Probably the BEST view from the rooms of any hotel. It sits on a hill side and ALL of the rooms have a mountain view. No need to ask for a high floor or a room with a view. You'll get an incredible view no matter what.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche im Hotel Terrazas del Calafate! Das Hotel ist mit ca. 20 Zimmern relativ klein und entsprechend persönlich. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber völlig ausreichend. Jeden Morgen gibt es frischen Obstsalat und verschiedenes Gebäck, neben den üblichen Dingen wie Toast und Croissants. Das Hotel liegt etwas am Stadtrand auf einem Hügel, so dass man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Lago Argentino hat. Wunderbar! Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great staff, beautiful location!
I have loved this hotel! There were minor problems, like restricted meals service and a smell in the toilet, but the staff were highly friendly and handy, the view was great, the neighborhood was a bit far from downtown, but a walking was doable, the taxi cheap and I was looking for a quieter place, so it's a matter of choice. The room was roomy for 2 and comfortable for 3 (my case), with an extra bed. The cost was terrific (I've got a promotion) and I highly recommend!

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning activities, transportation, and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and hotel was modern and well kept. It is slightly outside of city center but still only a short walk to the restaurants and shops we visited. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Love this hotel!
We stayed here for 3 nights. Amazing view of the lake, great service. Location is out of town and up a gravel hill which was the only downside for wanting to go out and grab anything. Breakfast was typical with crossiants, sandwiches, pastries, etc. Staff were really helpful and booked our tour for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Tolles Hotel mit perfekter Aussicht
Nach 3 wöchiger Reise durch Patagonien ein perfected Ort zum Abschliessen diner schönen Zeit. Das Personal ist extrem Aufmerksam und strahlt vor natürlicher Freundlichkeit und ist sehr Aufmerksam. Zu Fuss ist man in etwa 15min in der Avenida Libertador wo alle Agencias und Lokale sind. Vom Hotel aus jedem Raum top Aussicht auf den Lago Argentino und die Bahia de Calafate.

Wonderful hotel with great view of Lake.
Everything about the hotel was great. We were travelling with our 14 yr old son. The staff were always helpful and friendly making you feel at home. We mostly only spoke English but that was never a problem. We were initially staying only 2 nights and then off to another destination. As it turned, out we contacted the hotel and asked if they had room for us again 6 days later, just before Christmas. When we returned, they gave us the same room and invited us to attend a small get together they had for the staff at midnight. The staff were always helpful in suggesting restaurants, things to see and do, and getting transportation for us. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast which was included, tasted great and was healthy. Even though it was not on the buffet table, you could ask for eggs. The fruit cocktail was amazing. The "lunches to go" were also good. Also, after looking in many shops at items to purchase and the quality and price, it turned out the gift shop in the hotel had the best quality and prices than the shops in the town. Have stayed in many hotels in different countries and think this is one of the best. Truly recommend a stay here.

Hôtel agréable mais loin de tout.
Nous avions réserve une suite. Celle-ci bizarrement se trouve au rez de chaussée au niveau de la route, en fait une piste non bitumée et poussiéreuse. La suite est en fait une chambre normale, juste une peu pus grande avec un énorme jacuzzi dans la salle de bain. Après deux nuits dans une suite, nous avons eu une chambre standard pour la dernière nuit , ce qui est pour le prix largement suffisant. Problème d'humidité et d'odeur dans la suite, toute petite douche cabine. Personnel très sympathique. Petit déjeuner copieux. Dîner assez moyen au niveau de la qualité de la nourriture malgré une présentation soignée. Mais l'hôtel est si loin de la ville que le soir on est pratiquement obligé de manger sur place sinon prendre un taxi. L'établissement a tout juste cinq ans mais risque de mal vieillir. C'est dommage car l'architecture est agréable, lumineuses avec un mélange de bois et de pierre.

Adoramos a estadia. Os serviços do hotel são excelentes; o atendimento dos funcionários é espetacular; o café da manhã é ótimo; o banho é muito bom. Destacamos a cordialidade do pessoal da recepção e o talento da cozinheira Gicela. Com certeza recomendaremos o Terrazas del Calafate aos amigos.
