Directly behind the house there is a ski and toboggan slope as well as a ski lift and a "magic carpet" for children. The snow-sure location close to the Erzgebirge ridge makes for wonderful ski tours on groomed trails in winter. In summer, hikes and cycle tours (bikes can be hired) to picturesque destinations such as the Auersberg, Henneberg and the high moors in Bohemia are tempting.
