Perfect in every way

We are so grateful to have spent Christmas and new year in this amazing house. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The added personal touches were much appreciated. We have stayed at many “pet friendly” places in Tasmania and this is the best by far. The yard is fully enclosed and my houdini dog Indy could not get out. Perfect location, beautiful home and fantastic host. We can’t wait to return 😀

Awesome holiday

Such a fantastic property with great features, excellent outdoor area with bbq, plenty of comfortable seating outside creating a relaxing space with lots of things for the kids to do and look at. Beds were super comfortable and the decor is really well put together. Plenty of personal touches that really helped us feel at home. Great kitchen facilities and all the usual mod cons as well as google home hub - kept us entertained! Ideally situated to visit the beaches, which are beautiful and it’s not far to Cygnet for a bit of shopping. I highly recommend this amazing holiday rental!

Huon valley getaway

Cherie was a dream to deal with! Her communication was fantastic and responses were prompt. As the property is set up for guests, everything you could possibly want or need is thought of. The highlight was definitely the magical outdoor space. It adds something extra to the house that you didn't even know you needed, but is exactly what you wanted! We really enjoyed the suggestions in the guide and visited many of the cafes and bakeries listed. I loved the design and all the rooms were nicely appointed. The linens in the bedroom were very luxurious which was lovely. Hope to visit this lovely oasis again one day. Thanks again for a great stay!

Awesome

The property was meticulously clean, and described perfectly. As a family with children the cooking and kitchen facilities were first rate. Always great when you can find a chopping board and sharp knife! The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept well. Cherie was fantastic to deal with, and extremely helpful. We hope to return in the future.

This place is beautiful and so relaxing! Cherie and tim are lovely people and they have absolutely everything you could need at three beaches! Loved sitting out on the lawn in the big bean bags in the sun having a drink or two! Our daughter had the best time also! So close to the beautiful beaches. Definitely recommend this place it is amazing!!!!

We were blown away by this gorgeous home!

Only stayed one night, but could have moved in! As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. You can really feel the love in this house which has been put together with many thoughtful & luxurious details which made us feel like we were on a fancy holiday. Perfect home for families with so many amenities for children which were both practical & delighted kids & adults. Kids were thrilled with Google Home virtual assistant, the giant beanbags, the thoughtful chalkboard placemats & cute toys. One minute walk to the beach plus complimentary towels, beach mat, face masks & umbrella to make the most of the location. Good range of kids DVDs, books & board games. Also had fun playing pentanque on the grassy lawn. The design is stunning & we just loved enjoying the comforts as well as the local Tasmanian artwork & Tassie flavours in the pantry to try. Also loved the Tasmanian essential oil body products in the bathroom - literally inhaled Tasmania. The deck & garden area is really special with lots of spaces for the family to be together or for quiet solo time just reading a good book & enjoying the native wildlife which regularly drops in. TWO firepits to keep you cosy at night even in winter. The location is spot on, even the drive to the house is scenic with lovely ocean, orchard & country farm house views with sheep in paddocks & hay bales aplenty. Only 30 minutes from the Bruny Island ferry & close to lots of wineries, the famous Fat Pig Farm feasts, & the beautiful Sleeping Beauty mountain range. The local town Cygnet is about 15 minutes away via another gorgeous drive & has great cafes/restaurants, good fresh food shops, takeaway food, art galleries & nice home wares, jewellery & clothing shops. The locals are very welcoming & friendly & will go out of their way to help you & have a chat. Everything you need here like petrol, banking, pharmacy, massage, plus there is a wonderful wildlife reserve & park with playground & skate park for the kids & lots of the native black swans for which Cygnet was named. Once we had supplies, we did not need to venture far from the house, there are great beaches & walks virtually on the doorstep. The kids had a ball spotting the small wallabies which come out at dusk to graze. The host is so welcoming & really went above & beyond to make it a great stay. Guidebooks are the best I have ever seen & the digital version links through to Google maps, attraction websites, click to call & more. Thank u 4 a top stay!

Deluxe seclusion

Dear Cherie, You have created such a beautifully appointed home for people to relax and enjoy this lovely part of Tasmania. Your attention to details is evident in every room and we wanted for nothing. The back yard and entertaining area has been thoughtfully designed and appointed and the outdoor shower around the corner....clever!! The location is serene and peaceful, with a short stroll to the beach. It is also an easy commute to Cygnet for food and coffee. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. excellent holiday home

What an excellent holiday and such a warm welcome from our beautiful host Cherie. All your comforts are taken care of in this tastefully renovated house. We loved relaxing in the backyard with a glass of wine after sightseeing all day and the alfresco dinning is very romantic at night. Every morning and late afternoon we were treated to two kookaburras on the back fence. Lots to do around the area with wineries, cider sheds and the beautiful Huon Valley scenery. We highly recommend this house. Thanks Cherie.

Stylish clean and beautiful

At the minute we arrived Cherie made us feel the most wellcome. We enjoyed ourselves this most stylish and tastefully furnished and decorated house and outside space. The house is spotless clean. We’ve had a wonderful one week stay. Everything here has been taken care of. The music device was much fun. Kookaburra has kept us nice company and sung (laughed) us beautiful night serenades. All the nice three beaches have been visited by us. There is an excellent butcher shop in Gygnet and nice Conservatory cafe. We would most definitely recommend this house to anybody visiting Huon Valley.
