"I stayed for a night with my partner recently and we were very happy with how kind and helpful the staff were, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the dinner we had at the adjoining pub! We would definitely stay here again 😊"

"The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was really good. The room we had was on the front with a big window which was lovely but had to draw curtains for privacy in day. The only criticism was that there was a slight sewer type smell on arrival going up the stairs to the room and also in the morning in the bathroom but otherwise we had a lovely one night stay."

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. "Very pleasant one night stay, we arrived on a very warm sunny day. We got to our room and found the window open and an electric fan, so we had a cool and very comfortable night. Parking was free and very easy and reception was welcoming. Our only grip would be that you have to go next door, to the services to source your breakfast."

"A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away."
