The host Andrew was easy to contact and very responsive. Check-in and check-out were simple. Property is located a very short distance off the Edwards I-70 exit. Easy to find the garage entrance (at "rear" of the unit). A little more complicated to find the the "front" of the unit where there is an assigned parking spot on the main level. We found the garage easiest and parked there (a remote is provided). Our RAV4 with box on top cleared, but a larger vehicle might not. Assigned parking spot available if your vehicle doesn't fit.
Unit is three levels, with garage and utility/laundry room on the ground floor (2 flights of stairs up to BRs), kitchen/dinette, half bath and living room on the main floor and two nice sized bedrooms each with its own full bath on the top floor. Extra futon in utility room could allow a third couple to stay as well. Kitchen had everything - Keurig, pots, pans, crock pots, toaster, blender, dishes, utensils, etc. Fast Wifi. Flat screen TV in LR with Xfinity, and in each BR with a Roku for Netflix. Gas hot water never ran out!
There is no bus service close to this location, so a car is definitely required. Easy 5 min drive to local shops and restaurants in Edwards, a few mins more to Avon for larger stores (City Market, Christie Sports, Walgreens, Walmart) and more restaurants. Arrowhead is about 10 mins or less and offers access to BC with limited free parking. Get there by 8am on weekends -- if the "No Public Parking" signs are up, you're too late! You can also park at the BC Bear and Elk lots for $10/day. BC shuttle buses run between the different areas, including Arrowhead.
All in all this property worked out well for an extended ski vacation!
