We had a wonderful stay. Our group was five friends from college, meeting once a year, and we are all over 70. We love the closeness of the house to the beach. The house is always spotless and smells so good. Each room is very accommodating and comfortable. We have been staying here for several years now. If it was not a wonderful place we would not keep coming to the same house.

Perfect location for a week at Edisto! Easy walk to the beach. Porch was our favorite supper spot. Anything you need in the kitchen, crab pots, crock pot & Keurig Duo. Comfy beds and relaxing showers. Views for everyone from the bedrooms.

Edisto Excursion

My family and I were all very happy staying at Island Manor. From the moment we walked in the clean, welcoming home, we knew we had chosen the right home to rent for the week. My adult grandchildren loved the ease of walking a few steps to the ocean. The house itself had everything we needed, from a totally complete kitchen to books, games, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, plus many more things. We would highly recommend the Island Manor.

B’s Family Vacation 2025

We had a wonderful time. Island Manor was perfect for our large group. The house was well stocked with everything…great cooking utensils and kitchen equipment, beach chairs and towels, and cooking spices!!! The outdoor temperatures were mild and we were able to use the wonderful deck for visiting after a long day at the beach. Despite the rain almost every day, we all managed to get in some good beach time. We will definitely return to Island Manor. Thank you Dean & Beth West.

A great stay

Edisto has been our restcation spot for thirty years, and Island Manor has been our our favorite place to stay. The property and host are top notch. I would highly recommend.

Island Manor 10 ( Shhhhhhh! )

We had a great week. IM has everything you might need (and then some). Perfectly furnished. Not too fancy, just comfortable. House layout is great. It was hard for me to tell from the pics but it is much bigger than I originally thought and very “open concept”. I hate to rave about it too much because I really want it to be available the next time we come. IM is next to a beach access, which can be a problem at Edisto BUT this is a no parking access. Doesn’t attract as many people. Perfect location. Can walk to breakfast, the state park and the grocery. Easy access to the beach. Not climbing over a giant dune. Shaded cemented area under the house for the little ones to play with chalk when it’s too sunny to be at the beach. Protected sand area between house and beach for when the beach is too windy. Wonderfully stocked beach equipment closet. Lots of toys for tots and beach games for the older kids. Chairs too. We brought a pack and play and small high chair. Unlike many rentals there is a pantry with more than basics. Pam, spices. Soap at all sinks. TP, a bit of laundry detergent. Paper Towels, dish soap. Even emergency sun screen and tampons. I’m used to having to bring all this. Or buy it at the Pig — well now it’s Food Lion. Plenty to get you started and last the week if it’s just a couple. Bedding is nice. And most importantly, the house is CLEAN!!!! Owners were helpful. I hope we can come again and again! Thank you!

Great House Right on the Ocean/Beach.

Chilly March beach week but the house was great. Great location on quiet Edisto Beach. House comes with lots of amenities to make it easier when traveling. Had a great time!
