Not worth the money

The listing didnt look anything like the property the back sliding door did not even lock they had a stick holdimg it closed and in the bathroom the 1 door does not close and the other door was busted all up an im sorry for the amount of money I paid for a 2 night stay it was ridiculous due to all the damage ithad dnt get me wrong loved the location but definitely over priced for the problems it hadhad the kitchen drawers was tore up its

Clean and comfortable

Our stay at Edisto was enjoyable. I picked the condo because it was dog friendly and priced well. The accommodations were clean and the kitchen was well stocked, but small. The back deck was nice and we were able to watch the deer on the golf corse in the morning and evenings. Not walkable to the beach, but a very short drive. Easy check in/check out process. I would stay here again in the future.

Edisto Island is wonderful

This unit is in beautiful location on the island. We enjoyed walking around the complex and, of course, the beach! We stayed only two days and the condo was clean and had sufficient kitchen items for just the two of us, although the pots and pans, etc., could stand to be upgraded. The condo Itself definately needs and upgrade and some repairs (e,g.,the bathroom door into the bedroom needs repaired or replaced) but it was clean. The hot water in the shower stopped part way through for both of us and after a few very cold minutes, it warmed back up. Very odd and unpleasant. The area was nice and quiet, but you can definately hear those in the unit above. The wedding party overhead was a bit much! There are pros and cons to choosing a main floor unit. We will definately come back to the area, but probably try a different unit.

Just enough for 2 people. Place was nice . Need some painting on deck . AC units to all condos next to bedroom . Really loud, would wake you up . Few things wrong. But was a good place to stay .

Ideal Location! Needs Some Maintenance

Location was perfect! Just across the street is Edisto Bike Rental, you can really get to anywhere on the island with just a bike honestly. Unit was small, but just right for a couples get away. If you plan on cooking meals while on your trip, bring some utensils and pots and pans. The ones in the kitchen are older and well loved. Coffee pot leaks. Some water damage spots on the ceiling in some places. And the bathtub drips. But overall, only issues were very minor and had little impact on an amazing trip! Loved this rental! Travelers tip: the island’s nickname isn’t “Edis-slow” for nothing, bringing or buying groceries will save you some hassle since everything closes early in the afternoons or opens late after breakfast. Very laid back!

Condo in Edisto

The location was great and the premises were dog friendly. The condo is very small. No way more that two could stay there. The bathroom needs to be overhauled. The kitchen is too small to open up the refrigerator the whole way. The dishwasher is not attached to the counter and the pots and pans were very old. The condo was surface cleaned. There was a lot of dust on top of the fridge etc. The washer and dryer were nice but can not be run at the same time. The porch was really dirty when we got there as well.

Needs a Little TLC

Overall, very clean, and decorated well. Property needs to be painted, we ran out of hot water 2 out it the 4 days, knives need to be sharpened, and need a new door (bathroom to master bedroom).

Weekend Getaway

Nice place. Enjoyed our stay. A couple of things: Hot water goes quick. If the fireplace is okay to use, leave a note with confirmation. We did not want to light a fire in case the chimney needed to be checked.

Well maintained condo with great views located right on the golf course. Nicely updated, very clean, good size condo, and everything was provided that we needed such as dishes, trash bag, paper towels, dish liquid, clean up supplies, iron, etc. Comfy sofa and nice decor. Only complaint is there was absolutely no hot water whatsoever in the shower, bathroom sink, or kitchen sink for the entire week we stayed. Would definitely stay again, however, taking an ice cold shower during the cooler winter months is quite uncomfortable so it needs to be fixed.

Good

We liked everything about the condo except there was a problem with the hot water for the shower. It was extremely hard to turn on by myself, my fiancé had to do it for me. Once it was on, the hot water only lasted 3-4 minutes before going ice cold. Not even long enough to fully shower. We contacted the property manager and they were supposed to have someone out Sunday to fix it but we were checking out that day so it didn’t help us. Hopefully that gets fixed because otherwise it’s impossible to shower especially when it’s very cold outside like it was during our stay this weekend and a hot shower would’ve been greatly appreciated.
