EdiStar at Edisto Beach

  • Welcome to EdiStar with backside facing to private & quiet Point Street. EdiStar enjoys the ocean breeze & view from both inside and out. The deck and porch are great to take in the ocean views & sounds by day and on a clear night amazing star gazing by night. From the open deck you can enjoy the colors of sunrise & sunset, or simply relax to the sounds of the ocean.

    The recently updated home has open concept living, with a combined kitchen/dining/living area & split bedroom floorplan. Edistar is completed with a covered/enclosed sun porch that has extra living, dining, reading space, foosball table & giant Jenga. Beyond the enclosed & covered porch that is filled with light and air from its many windows is the large open sundeck.

    Downstairs you will find beach toys & chairs in addition to a plethora of games for kids of all ages. Including, Ping Pong table, cornhole, bocci ball, croquet, giant connect four, beach tennis paddles & more.

    We supply both a gas and charcoal grill, we start the season with a full tank of propane and ask the guest to continue that in perpetuity for each other as we aren't there.

Had a wonderful relaxing week at Edistar. Found the accommodations cozy and loved hanging out on the porch listening to the sea. Best part was the easy walk to the beach. Great layout and location for family and small child!

This is a beautiful home! It is in a quiet, peaceful area with very easy access to the beach. The kitchen has just about everything you might ever need for whatever you're preparing after a day in the sun. Coffee on the deck in the morning was delightful and the downstairs swing very relaxing in the evening breeze. Colleen was quick to respond to our questions & check-in was super easy. We really enjoyed our stay at Edistar!

best edisto stay to date!

this was the third time we’d booked a weekend getaway on edisto and this house takes the cake! we did not want to leave and we can’t wait to go back.

Laid back beach trip

Property was very clean, had all the kitchen tools we needed as well as games and beach toys to use. Had a blast and it was great for the dogs as well.

Family Spring Break

We had a wonderful time! The split floor plan was wonderful for our family and the fenced in yard a great benefit for our dogs. So nice to be so close to the beach with a toddler and dogs, and the quiet street made it even less stressful managing all the things.

Our family week at Edistar was great. Communication by the owner was amazing! Our grand dogs enjoyed the yard and our granddaughters enjoyed the house very much. Everything was conveniently located.SPECIAL NOTE!After our departure, I had inadvertently left a small zippered medical bag and Edistar reached out to me quickly and we were able to have my meds. shipped to me home timely. What a blessing to have such great communication. So very appreciative! Thank you Edistar!

Great stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The sun room and the large deck were great for quality family time. The location was unbeatable. It was only a short walk to the beach and we were close to great restaurants and shops. This beach house truly felt like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning.

Great Stay at 2804

We had a great stay. The house was setup well for us and our two dogs. The yard is large enough for our dogs to run around. The property is close enough to the beach to hear the surf and the back deck is on a quiet street.The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean.

Great beach rental.

We loved the proximity to the beach. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The sunroom was a delightful bonus and convenient space for our dog to stay when we were on the beach during the day.

Iconic Beach Rental

Location!!!! Location!!!! Quiet street literal steps to the beach, fenced in yard (rare find), SO MANY extras-games especially. It is clear that the owners put thought into making this property a one of a kind experience for everyone. Would highly recommend for those that want the true beach vacation.

Beach trip with young adult and grandbaby

Just too short!! The location and set up of this house is wonderful! Great design for couples/families to have some privacy and lots of thoughtful details in the house. Host response to a few questions was very prompt. Would definitely stay at the home again.

Colleen was fabulous to work with! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This property was perfect! Colleen was always available if a question came up. It was a perfect for my mom, my daughter and myself - a girl trip! Just a short walk to the beach - which was wonderful for my mom. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and read. We made some wonderful memories!

Steps from the ocean quiet location. Had everything needed and said it listed. Only negative was the sunroom. Very hot but would stay again

Family Vacation

This beach house rental is basically perfect! The Edistar more than comfortably fit 7 adults and a medium to large sized dog. The home was clean and well-equipped, as well as extremely close to a beach access. The space offers a multitude of places to sit/lounge and a spacious, functional kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy a cozy, quiet, convenient trip to Edisto Beach! We hope to be back soon!

Great location.

Great house and location. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Enjoyed all the games inside and out. Large front deck and sitting area downstairs. Fur baby had room to run outside in fenced yard. Great host and quick to respond. Fit our Family. We will be back.

Edistar! We loved it!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Edistar! It was comfortable for our extended family of 12 and we loved the proximity to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. As a mother of 4, I appreciated the simple touches, such as plenty of hooks in the bathrooms/bedrooms for hanging bath linens, bags, etc. It helped keep everything neat and organized. Colleen was super responsive and helpful. We would love to stay again in the future!
