"Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent."

"When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. "This hotel is very welcoming and friendly! We had a lovely 2day break! Rooms immaculate spotless and super clean! Home cooked food which was beautiful! The restaurant and bar had lovely decor and I would highly recommend! The location for this hotel is perfect to visit surrounding areas! Staff very friendly and helpful."
