Estaba horrible horrible me encontre hasta una toalla usada detras de la puerta, tengo dudas si cambiaron las sabanas, el baño publico ponia no disponible y lo abrimos y nos encontramos que era un trastero, nos cogio tanto asco que dejamos perder el desayuno. Estaba muy sucio tanto lo comun como habitaciones. Las toallas estaban amarillentas de viejas que eran. Muy muy mal

The bed was very soft and wonderful to sleep on. Also, the breakfast was great as well as the coffee. The property was a little run down as far as maintenance goes. The staff and management were very helpful and courteous.

The location was convenient, near a bus stop, the space was spacious and fine to stay a day or two, and the staff was very helpful. The room and building looked to be in need of maintenance and repair.

Excellent place to stay! I would highly recommend it to future guests. The location is outstanding, with direct bus access right outside the property to the Royal Mile and many of Edinburgh’s major attractions. There is little to no need for Uber or other expensive transportation. Convenient, affordable, and an excellent choice!

It was a very nice place to stay, the staff was wonderful and vary caring about customers necessities. Breakfast was really good, has it's own free parking lot and generally speaking, very well!

The staff at the Abbey are excellent, by far the best part about the stay. Very friendly with each encounter and extremely accommodating. We had several bags with us, and they made our check-in and check-out much easier by going out of their way to support. The room itself is satisfactory; it is about what you pay for. Nothing too extraordinary, but more than sufficient for what we needed it for. Although the bathroom wasn’t terribly well maintained, and the shower didn’t drain very well. Housekeeping was great; they came regularly and did a great job keeping the room to a high standing of cleanliness. The accommodation is also quite accessible to the city centre through both the 3 and the 29, which come quite frequently. Since there is no kitchen, having a Co-Op across the road is quite handy. Also close to some nice walking trails.

I had a pleasant one-night stay at The Abbey Residence in Edinburgh. The hospitality was great, the place felt safe and secure, and the breakfast, which is included in the room's price, was surprisingly good too. Overall, a comfortable stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are cleaned every day, a kettle is in the room with an assortment of tea and coffee. Their breakfast is very nice, with juices, breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. A very attentive staff. It’s very easy to catch the bus into the city, and back. When we couldn’t get the heat to turn off, they were there immediately to fix it. On the last night, we tried to contact the staff to let them know we would be leaving very early, but they didn’t answer their “buzzer” or bell, so we didn’t know what to do with the keys. We hope they found them! Besides that, it was a perfect, safe stay.

The property was in need of updating, it is longing tired with lots of small bits of damage- towel rails falling of, chunks out of walls, damage to the floor. We could not get in touch with the property to ask about check in, the phone kept going to voicemail. When we arrive there was no one around, it took us 10 minutes to actually find someone to check us in, however the place was open therefore felt insecure The rooms were clean but needed updating and redecorating. Breakfast was OK, not really continental, some toast, a few croissants, fruit and yoghurt.

The Abbey Residence is located in a more residential part of Edinburgh, but its steps away from a bus stop that takes your right into the city center. What sets this place apart is the amazing customer service. The staff was so accommodating to any need, and absolutely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a nice, light nibble to start your day. The ease of having a little bar right at reception was nice if you were looking for a night cap. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to rest after exploring city, this is it!

Very chilled, staff always super friendly and happy to help. The coop is literally across the road and they allow you to sit and have dinner in their dining area. <3 Not too many amenities to note tbh. Bed was fairly decent, shower's a little small but only because I'm used to my massive shower at home. Temperature was well regulated. Walls are a little thin but the area is far out so it's not horrendously noisy, only thing you hear is people walking past in the morning and your neighbour's muffed phone call.
