I am reaching out regarding a concerning experience I had with VRBO. In January, the total cost for my apartment booking was deducted, but I encountered challenges when I attempted to modify my booking before June 4th. Despite my efforts to communicate with VRBO for assistance in this matter, there was no response regarding contacting the host or issuing a refund.Upon arrival, locating the apartment proved difficult, and I experienced trouble getting in touch with VRBO for further guidance. After 90 minutes of searching, I was advised to secure alternative accommodations at my own expense. With the help of a local resident, I eventually found a hotel room, albeit without cooking facilities, but I have yet to receive any reimbursement for the difference in cost.As a senior on a limited income, I am concerned about how this situation was handled and whether it reflects the company’s values toward customers like myself. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to processing a refund for my booking. Thank you for your understanding.
