Location is great and beds were comfy. Apartment only came stocked with 1 roll of toilet paper, which meant we had to buy our own.

Lovely flat, carpets need replacing or at least deep clean, we’re lucky we brought house shoes! Poorly managed and a couple of electrical dangers. (Broken switch plates and bare wire for kettle switch!) I messaged and didn’t get a timely response. Disappointed at the price for a place that needed attention that goes well beyond a daily cleaners scope.

Property location is convenient 20 minute walk to tourist sites, and close to restaurants, and grocery stores. Lots of great natural light. Hop on/Hop off stop just two blocks away. Beds were okay and you sink into the sofa. One of the dining table chairs was broken. Check-in and Check-out were easy.
There was no WiFi, no TV service, and no air movement, which might be okay in the winter, but was not great in the summer. There was a strong mold smell and a large hole in the wall in the bathroom. There were some large stains in the carpets and a missing kitchen cabinet door. The garden space out back was so overgrown that you couldn't access it. Communications with the landlord/rental agency were not easy.
I would guess this place was in much better condition several years ago when they first started renting it out, but is time for some deep cleaning and refresh. This flat is not on the top of my list of places to stay next time I'm in Edinburgh.

Old unit needs plenty of love and no idea how to work the T V
Check in was difficult and we did not receive details until last minute by which time as we were travelling we had to have wifi to download checkin info. It was raining and the apartment had the unit and street number round the opposite way. ended up at the corner pub to ask and they said loads of people ask them the address... I had to give a video of myself and speech recognition which I was really uncomfortable with. This was serviced by HOUST not Stayz so don't know what the set up was. We had about 3 reminders about noise and other residents but the joke was there was a party next door and we had 3 people bang on our door wondering where the party was which went on until 4 in the morning. The unit was very basic and pretty cold. The TV and set top box had 5 controls and no instructions so stuck inside with no tv and it was the size of one of my computer screens (24inch). Couldn't wait to leave
