Es war toll der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit das Haus war geräumig und sauber. Es hätten ein paar Teller usw. mehr vorhanden sein könne. Wir haben die Spülmaschine nie genutzt weil wir täglich spülen mussten. Die Pfannen waren sehr alt , wir haben eine neue gekauft.Die Messer waren etwas stumpf, wir haben ein Brotmesser gekauft :-). All das waren aber Kleinigkeiten die den Urlaub nicht gestört haben wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen.

An amazing stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day exploring the cities and travelling, this is a wonderful place to come back to and enjoy the serenity.Can not fault it at all. Close to the town of Linlithgow for all your supplies and close to a main freeway for travelling.

Easy to get to. Lovely peaceful surroundings in the country. Accommodation was very good and comfortable. Only one suggestion for improvement: include water glasses in the kitchen.Wi-Fi is currently patchy, but we were advised of this by the owner when we arrived. This was beyond the owner's control. It did not spoil our holiday or enjoyment for our stay.

Es war eines der besten Ferienhäuser das wir je hatten. Die Umgebung traumhaft die Anbindung von Linlithgow nach Edinburgh perfekt. Ein Auto ist allerdings erfolgreich.

Highly recommend

Spotlessly clean when we arrived. Lots of room for clothes etc. and for storing suitcases. Great having the use of a dishwasher and washer for the week. Beautiful quiet location, can highly recommend this place. Great for me being disabled with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Hervorragende Unterkunft mit viel Platz

Sehr geräumige Ferienwohnung mit typischer Ausstattung. Drei Schlafzimmer, drei Badezimmer. Alle nötigen Küchen-Utensilien sind vorhanden. Der Stellplatz fürs Auto ist groß genug. Das WLAN ist befriedigend. Man wohnt ländlich und kann die Ruhe genießen.

Excellent Stay

It was amazing, only that we had to move on we would have stay there longer. Only 10mins to the shops and to the motorway. Peace and quiet. Would recommend it to everyone.

Great accommodation set in lovely lowland countryside. Handy for various tourist spots, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Falkirk. Linlithgow Town centre and Train station 6 miniutes away.Jim the host has provided a great holiday home. There are 3 chalets in a quiet rural area. We are happy to recommend. Car essential.

Just what we wanted

We arrived a bit early & it wasnt any problem for Jim, who met us, in the rain. Inside after a little tour & info on the workings of the gas stove, lights,door keys etc, we unloaded & just relaxed. Looking out at the sheeo pastures & the 360 views itvwas amazing.! The drive up the hill was a bit scary, but after a few trios up/ down we adjusted. House was lovely. Everything clean & neat. Im sad we didn't have time to put the living room back together, as we needed to be to the airport so early. Left them a bottle of wine to say thank you & forgot to leave a note of thanks. So " Thamk you"!!!

Wonderful idyllic cottage

This was a wonderful cottage and a beautiful setting. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner was delightful and very helpful.It should be noted that there is no dryer or hot tub. But there was a rack to dry clothes on and they dried quickly. Also, you need to take your own bath soap. It was very up-to-date and the view from your window was gorgeous. Lambs scampering about and a beautiful view of the valley. We were extremely happy with our location.

Christmas stay

A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods.

Best stay in a Cottage in Scotland

We found a beautiful Cottage in the near of Linlithgow. For the start all necessary things were available in the Cottage. In the evening Jim, the owner, visit shortly and had a talk with us. The area around is so beautiful. Sheaps, top view on the Ochils.

In the country,but close to amenities

Very clean and tidy,only comment is we had a long 7 hour drive and there was no milk in fridge and no tea bags etc,didnt want heaps just a quick cuppa and it would have been nice to leave an odd bin bag, as we were there for 6 days,but apart from that a lovely Comfy stay. comfy comfy stay

Großartiger Stützpunkt für Ausflüge

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche mit sehr vielen Ausflügen, die wir alle sehr komfortabel von unserer Unterkunft aus erreichen konnten. Die Ferienwohnung liegt etwas außerhalb, aber zentral für die meisten schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es gibt ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen und die Wohnung bietet einige Annehmlichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
