The Wow Factor!

Wow! From start to finish, the hosts were communicative, accommodating, and compassionate. They have an incredibly responsive turnaround time on inbox items — before and during the trip. They are super organized and I have never stayed in a more well-appointed home than theirs — whether it was the pantry items, kitchen tools & supplies, beach and ocean accessories, linens, the list goes on & on. They’ve thought of everything. When they say “leave it at home,” it’s true! The location is peaceful and about as remote as you can get. The proximity to the MV airport, the ferries, and all of the beaches and downtown areas is exceptional. It is a super-centric location! On nights we stayed in, we enjoyed cooking in their beautifully updated kitchen complete with top of the line appliances. We even caught a meteor shower from one of the several deck spaces on the home. Their style is classic coastal and very subtle — which makes island time even easier to sink right into as well as allows you to feel at home immediately. We brought our small dog, just check with them for approval before bringing your fur friend, and they had everything available for her to have a fun stay too! Her own couch coverings, towels, bowls, etc. And on top of all of this, taking their skiff over to their private beach could not have been more awesome. In 15-20 minutes you reach a slice of paradise. Both days we spent there, we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this property.

Amazing property and hosts

We were absolutely impressed with our stay at this property! The house was not only beautiful and immaculately clean but also spacious and well-equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience even further. We thoroughly enjoyed the six bikes provided, as well as the opportunity to ride on the boat, paddleboard, and use the kayaks on the serene pond. Our time here was unforgettable, and we would definitely love to return!

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful and well-stocked home. The hosts were immediately responsive to all contacts and repeatedly looked to make our stay special. The house and amenities were accurately describe and even understated when you see that the boats, bikes and games were all quality items. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we could possibly need. We had an amazing time. If you rent this house you will want or need for nothing and will probably be writing a similar review at the end of your stay.

Great getaway!!

We so enjoyed our stay at this home! The house is private but close to great restaurants and shopping areas, immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners have provided all the supplies and amenities you could ask for and were extremely helpful - giving great options for dining and activities. We had a great week at the house. Dawn was very helpful with all logistical planning and proactive in communicating that the house was ready as we were already on island. It’s the best stocked house we’ve rented. Beach chairs, bikes, lawn games, kids games for inside, and everything was incredibly easy to find. Kitchen is great, all you need to do is show up. Thank you for the hospitality!

A Dream Family Getaway

The property is even more stunning than the pictures. This is the perfect place for a family getaway. We had 3 generations with us and the layout of the house was so comfortable for everyone. When the host says they have everything, believe them! We VRBO all the time, and this was, by far, the best appointed house we have ever been in. They thought of everything you could need for a Vineyard vacation, for all ages, and provided it. We only needed to bring our clothes! The location on the island is great. Close to all of the towns, Morning Glory Farms, the creamery, and it's very easy to get Up Island. All the directions for the use of equipment, beach, boat etc. were clear and complete. The communication prior to arriving was very helpful. The beach was lovely and private. The owners answered any of our questions quickly if we had them. They made our stay special and delightful. If I had one complaint it would be that we had to go home!

Dream Home for the Perfect Martha’s Vineyard Vacation

We had the most amazing family vacation at this perfect retreat. The home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. It was private, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to everything. The condition of the home and the decor were flawless; we couldn't have asked for better. We all felt at home during our weeklong stay and wished we had stayed longer! The owners were incredible—so kind, helpful, and always available for recommendations if needed. Wonderful Stay!

The pictures do not do this house justice. You couldnt ask for a better host than Dawn. She helped me with figuring out traveling to the island. She provides everything you could possibly think of needing. The island is beautiful. People are very friendly. We used the boat several times to go to the beach and saw two sea lions!! The bikes were great way to sightsee. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Oyster Pond - a Martha’s Vineyard gem

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home which was walking distance from Oyster Pond. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and taking the skiff to a private section of ocean beach. The house had everything one needs in a vacation home. The owners were friendly and very hospitable. This was one of the nicest homes we have stayed at in over 30 years of bringing our family to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Fantastic stay at perfect MV property for families

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn's home (four adults, two toddlers, one baby). This is the ideal property if you're traveling with children and it is very centrally located to everywhere on MV we wanted to go (different towns, beaches, etc.). We were so impressed about the thought and care that went into making the house as user-friendly as possible (everything perfectly labeled, games for kids, beach toys, etc.). Communication with Dawn was also perfect--we had a small issue with a repair that she promptly had fixed within an hour. We loved the big lawn for running around with our kids and hammocks for relaxing. The whole stay was perfection!

Wonderful house and hosts

Couldn't speak more highly of Dawn and Lawlor as hosts. They take great care to think of guests' needs. All the little touches - well appointed kitchen (with labels for everything!), Garage with all the fun activity items you might want (boards, outdoor games, life preservers, etc), indoor game rooms, wonderfully tended property. Best hosts I've ever had on the vineyard (and I've been coming for 45 years).

Family Visit

We spent a wonderful week at this amazing property. The homeowners did in fact think of everything. After spending many summers at MV, this house is hands down the best property we have ever stayed at. We hope to visit again soon.

Great Short Weekend!

We had a great weekend and the hosts were amazing. Answered all our questions promptly. House was immaculate, well stocked and great for a large group. The family room and decks provided room for all. Only challenge is you are not close to bike trails and dirt road leading to the house does not allow you to get to one easily. You need to drive out and park and then ride. A small compromise for an incredible house with everything you need.

Amazing host and house

My family and I have stayed at over 10 houses on the vineyard over the course of 25+ years, and this one is certainly the most well-stocked and family friendly. Dawn our host was meticulous about making sure we had everything we needed. The house is in great shape, and the beach access is amazing. Would highly recommend!

One of a kind - amazing experience

Our 3rd summer staying and it never disappoints- the house is lovely and the location is great for outdoor enthusiasts who like boating and biking in scenic surroundings. The house is immaculate with thoughtful touches throughout — and owners highly responsive. We will be back again next year!
