The house is about a mile out of Edgartown Village but we had a car, so it was easy to get into town. Parking is a trial but way better than summertime.(We were there 10/27-10/4/25. Very nice house, everything looked new. Very quiet neighborhood and well kept up.

Can’t say enough about how perfect this property is for us. It’s true the weather did not cooperate this year. It’s in a quiet neighborhood right off bike path.Close to south beach and edgartown. We will surely be returning

Cozy cottage

The perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway. The location was a quick walk to town and a short drive to the best spots on MV. Settling inside for a quiet rainy day was relaxing and cozy. Great communication with the owner and a pristine property definately want to come back!

Great cottage for for 2!

Great cottage for 2 guests close to town. Very well stocked with everything you would need. Mary Jane was great to work with. House was clean and they also had beach chair and umbrellas which was great. Only suggestion would be new pillows. Would stay again or recommend.

Best place for a week away

We had the best week and could not have been more comfortable staying in this home. It had everything we expected or needed and so much more. The location is right by a bike path and some awesome beaches and restaurants. Mary Jane was fast to respond if we ever needed anything. We will be staying here again!

We had a great week! Cottage was clean and in a Great location just outside of Edgartown! It was quiet and peaceful at night for sleeping! We can’t wait to go back to enjoy more time on Martha’s Vineyard!

Wonderful, relaxing getaway

This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard and it won't be our last! The well-appointed guest house is bright and cozy and although you can't beat the restaurants on the island, we found we enjoyed many of our evenings "cooking in" and relaxing in this wonderful space. Loved the location, especially the proximity to beautiful Edgartown. Mary Jane, thank you so much for your hospitality!

Perfectly beautiful romantic getaway.

Because this was our honeymoon I wanted it to be special and intimate. My worries that it would be too small were gone as soon as I stepped into this cottage. We found it perfectly sized for the two of us with all the modern conveniences. We enjoyed biking and exploring the island's lighthouses and restaurants. This was our first time on MV and we would like to return to our wonderful memories by coming back to this Katama guest house.

A little gem

Lovely little 1 BR, 1 bath in Katama, MA My only concern is that some of the amenities are a little tired. The bath towels and dish towels are "well used" and really need to be replaced, and I understand that this is a cabin for 2 but it would be nice to have more than 2 wineglasses, coffee mugs, etc.

Wonderful Katama Cottage

This was our second time staying at Mary Jane's cottage and, in the words of my husband, "it was even better than I remembered!". We were fortunate enough to book our Vineyard trip for two weeks and it was pure bliss. The location absolutely cannot be beat. It's so convenient to South Beach as well as Edgartown center and you can really take advantage of everything the island has to offer. We especially loved being close to Morning Glory Farm and the Katama General Store. The property itself feels as fresh and new as the first time we stayed here two summers ago. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and has everything that you might need to be able to prepare meals at home. Mary Jane is a joy to communicate with, and I agree with other reviewers who mentioned that she is never overbearing but answers every inquiry promptly and thoughtfully. We are looking forward to our return trip!
