On my son's on my bike ride to Oslo, we decided to stay in Ed - also because of the books about Carl Hamilton, as one of the stories takes place here. Ed seems to be nice small village with a few restaurants and one main street and a few super markets and a square (that was what we managed to find out during our one night stay here). And then there are the two lakes. The nature is fantastic here in Sweden. Like other places in Sweden, it is actually a shame that you can here truck traffic from miles away, e.g. when you are sitting and relaxing on the terrace in the evening.
Well, the hotel seems to be an older establishment. It needs some maintenance. The room was spacious with two bedrooms and living room, a kitchen area and bathroom and big terrace.
