Séjour au calme en Bourgogne

Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites. Le gîte est spacieux, et comporte tous les équipements nécessaires à un séjour même prolongé. Il est idéalement situé pour explorer la région. Enfin mention spéciale pour Christian, le propriétaire, qui est très chaleureux et de bon conseil sur les recommandations locales. Nous reviendrons !

Beaucoup d'espace (et d'espaces différents !) dans cette vieille maison très agréable à habiter. Accueil charmant. Le village est très calme, mais les alentours méritent d'être découverts.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in altem Französischen Gemäuer

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in diesem alten Französischen Gemäuer verbracht Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und für zwei Personen ist Platz im Überfluss. Auch eine Großfamilie dürfte sich bei zwei Bädern jeweils mit Dusche und Toilette voll entfalten können. Ein toller Fernseher mit einigen Deutschen Fernsehprogrammen kann den einen oder anderen Tag mit schlechtem Wetter kompensieren. Die Klimaanlage kann sowohl kühlen als auch heizen, was bei wechselhaftem Wetter schon echter Luxus ist. Christian ist ein sehr angenehmer Vermieter voll von Güte und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Katzen freuen sich über die eine oder andere Hand voll Trockenfutter. Der Parkplatz an der Scheune von Christian ist perfekt und nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Vorsicht ist beim Weinkauf geboten. Man kann schon für 15€ bis 30€ einen guten Wein erstehen, darunter ist Qualität und Geschmack eher gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Gegend rund um Beaune kann sehr schön sein, manchmal sind aber ein paar Schritte notwendig, um einen schönen Blick auch für Fotos zu bekommen. Ein entspannter Spaziergang mit viel Ruhe durch Lusigny-sur-Ouche hält spannende Ansichten bereit. Es ist sowieso besser, die Ausflüge nicht nur abzuhaken sondern mit viel Muße zu erlaufen und zu erleben. Noch ein Tipp: Die Bronze Künstlerin in Châteauneuf-en-Aux ist sehr liebenswert und eine echte Bereicherung. Das Burgund ist nicht spektakulär, dafür aber leise und angenehm mit sehr viel Entdeckungspotential.

Super séjour à Ecutigny

Mes amies et moi-même avions réservé le logement pour nous y retrouver quelques jours et fêter l'arrivée de 2021. Nous avons été ravies du séjour : le logement correspond parfaitement à la description, tout est propre, la maison à un vrai cachet et l'hôte est au petit soin : nous avions eu tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin, et même davantage. Un grand merci aux propriétaire pour l'accueil !

A wonderful, pleasant and relaxing holiday

During the Corona period with local, regional, national varying restrictions, there could not be a better decision to spend a few days with our daughters on holiday in Burgundy. With the holiday apartment in Écutigny, whose owner is Christian de Bourhis, we had a lucky choice. The very openly structured holiday apartment, which gives you a direct feeling of domesticity, is also the perfect place for families with many children. With three different sleeping areas, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen-living room, nothing was missing. The picturesquely dreamy looking holiday apartment, in a stone house that is amazingly cool and pleasant during the heat outside, had a particularly inviting entrance area, which was decorated with various flowering climbing plants on which different species of butterflies were feeding. The richly flowering farm garden with terrace behind the house is a place of peace and relaxation. During the day - if you are interested - you can observe a wealth of butterfly species and other insects and at night you are rewarded by a beautiful starry sky (thanks to the lower light pollution in this region). Christian was always helpful, always provided information on nearby destinations. He also speaks some English and German, for those with some problems in the French language. Besides, he also offers bicycles and can arrange contacts depending on your interests. He was a very pleasant conversation partner in everything, and also gave us some of his home-grown organic vegetables; as always, our 9 days passed by in a flash, and we are thinking of coming back here.

Authentique maison bourguignonne.

Gîte agréable, calme, bien équipé. Situé à quelques kilomètres de Chateauneuf en Auxois, très beau village médiéval surplombant la vallée de l'Ouche à visiter absolument. Autres visites appréciées : Semur en Auxois, forteresse de la butte de Thil, parc animalier de l'Auxois et Arnay le Duc lors des nocturnes estivales du jeudi. L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaire parfait le séjour.

très bon gîte. très bien et très complètement aménagé, y compris concernant la cuisine. très confortable. bien isolé contre le trop chaud ou le trop froid. seul petit inconvénient: le peu de portes entre les espaces pour dormir. Nécessite une bonne entente et un rythme de vie compatible entre tous. Ceci - dit, tout s'est très bien passé.

Idealer Ort für Entspannung und Ausflüge

Unser Aufenthalt bei Christian in Egitugny war sehr angenehm. Die Lage in dem ruhigen kleinen Dorf in hübscher ländlicher Umgebung, zugleich günstiger Ausgangsort für Ausflüge zu burgundischen Highlights, entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Christian ist ein aufmerksamer und großzügiger Gastgeber, die Wohnung geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit rustikalem Charme, sehr zu empfehlen. Merci bien à Christian et au revoir!

Sehr gut

Wir hatten als 5 köpfige Familie eine gute Zeit in der individuell gestalten urigen und geräumigen Wohnung in ländlicher Umgebung und absoluter Ruhe. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, wohnt in der unteren Wohnung und hat immer geholfen und alles sofort in Stand gesetzt. Es war auch interessant sich mit ihm zu unterhalten. Wir planen einmal wieder zu kommen. Einzig vermisst haben wir einen Supermarkt vor Ort und einen normalen Ofen um z.B. das typische franz. Baguette aufzubacken, für eine Pizza hätten wir den Ofen in seiner Wohnung nutzen dürfen. Es gibt also immer eine Lösung... Empfehlenswert!

Carinissima casa di campagna

Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza ad Ecutigny in questa carinissima casa di campagna comoda, ben accessoriata e ben vivibile dal primo giorno. Il supermercato è a 5 minuti di macchina ed ha tutto quello che serve. Il luogo è silenzioso e si possono ammirare senza problemi le stelle. Il proprietario è stato di una gentilezza infinita, supportandoci per ogni esigenza e rendendosi sempre disponibile a consigliarci luoghi da visitare, lo ringraziamo tutti con affetto. Consigliamo vivamente questa casa e ci torneremo di sicuro in futuro.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Burgundy

My friend and I passed a truly lovely three nights in Christian's Ecutigny cottage in late June 2018. The cottage is impossible to miss, being just off of the main road through town. Communication with Christian prior to and during our stay was great. Even though the weather was warm, the thick stone walls kept the cottage cool during the day. As we (sadly) left, Christian recommended that we stop to look at Chateau de Chateauneuf on our way to Paris and we're so glad that we did. It was a highlight of our time in Burgundy. I have no qualms about recommending the cottage in Ecutigny and would happily return for a longer stay! PROs: Wonderful, friendly, welcoming host Excellent location convenient to Beaune and the delights of Burgundy Quiet rural town setting with the countryside mere steps away Cozy and quaint interior made us feel at home Comfortable beds with plenty of bedding & pillows Gorgeous exterior bursting with flowers and plants (late June) All the amenities needed by self-catering travelers (mini fridge, cooktop, washing machine, WiFi, parking, plentiful maps & local guides) Friendly local cat to greet us at the end of a long day sightseeing Interior stayed cool during the heat of the day Two full bathrooms (though only one shower was working - not a big deal for us) Lots of room to spread out and not step on each others toes CONS: The one bathroom I used was built under the eaves, so it was a bit cramped for my 5'10" frame. Not a huge deal, just a minor annoyance. The other bathroom's door is a barn door that was difficult to close & open. The electricity is a bit tricky, with some switches needing to be turned on in order for other outlets to work. Again, not a huge deal once you know what powers which switches, so pay close attention to Christian when he walks you through at check-in. The upstairs bonus area with 2-3 beds is somewhat unfinished but looked liveable - I'd suggest bringing slippers for walking around if you're planning to use that space. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and regretted not being able to stay longer.
