"perfect for a relaxing weekend, for food we went to the waitrose which wasn’t far about 15 mins in the car and there was a bar/ cafe and fish and chips 20 mins down the beach. the local premier shop had all we needed, really nice place to sit on the beach "

"Property has an incredible view of the sea and takes just 1 minute to get down to a lovely quiet beach. Staff were really friendly. Bed was very comfy and shower worked really well. Water bottles and biscuits were dropped off each day outside our door. The breakfast included in the price of the room was really nice. "

"A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. "

"Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. "

"Upon arrival, the hotel was incredible, parking was easy, we was ealry to check in, however, we were made comfortable at the bar to unwind with some drinks prior. "Fabulous location overlooking the market place with convenient free parking options. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. I’ll definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the new developments there as it really is a place that’s growing and developing. "

It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍"
