We are hikers who didn't really know what we were getting into when we booked a room at Snowvillage Inn for one night on a weekend getaway, but we are so lucky that we stumbled on to this little gem. Gorgeous spot within striking distance of all the great White Mountain hikes but not right in the middle of all the tourist noise. Great lawn and grounds, a gorgeous front screened-in porch, a comfortable bed and an amazing breakfast. My only suggestions: beware the potholes on the actual road to the inn as they could easily claim a tire and to bring any snacks/sweets/drinks you might need overnight (if you're like us and were still a bit dehydrated from all the hiking and needed to drink water even overnight) or in early morn as this is an old fashioned inn without a vending machine, etc. Oh yes, and my husband could not believe they didn't have a TV, but frankly, I loved it, and after all that hiking, we didn't really need or want it anyway.
