Perched atop Rosario Highlands, you'll feel on top of the world, not only on the wraparound deck, but in the gorgeous living room with vaulted ceilings and artistic windows. Each room is perfectly suited for a great night's sleep, which will be needed after a day of adventures.



    What's nearby:

    Cascade Lake is just a 5 minute drive away, where you can relax on the beach or rent a boat from Moran State Park. Rosario Point is also a short drive from here, where you'll find a full-service resort and spa, as well as great local fare at Cascade Bay Grill.

The views of the water from this property are truly amazing. Very clean, a bit dated with regards to furniture/furnishings but good mattresses and updated bathrooms. Follow VRBO directions as google maps does not take you to the correct location, could be a bit challenging to find if in the dark. Lovely place for vacation and perfect spot on the island.

Charming Stay

We enjoyed our stay overall. The property was spacious, comfortable, and had a charming, cozy feel. Some of the furnishings and decor are a bit older, but they add to the character of the place. We also appreciated that a crib was provided, which was very helpful for families traveling with young children. Guests should be aware that there is NO AC and the house can get quite warm during hotter weather. We opened windows at night time and that helped cool the house down. One tip for future guests: be sure to follow the directions provided by the host in their email rather than relying solely on Google Maps, as the host's instructions were much more accurate and helpful for finding the property. The bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated the space the home provided for our group. While there were a few areas that could benefit from a deeper cleaning, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here.

Stunning western views

Our family enjoyed watching every gorgeous sunset from the deck. Kitchen was well appointed and we were grateful for the provided kitchen and laundry supplies. Lots of privacy nestled in the trees.

Love this house

This is our second time staying here. The view is gorgeous, and we spent so much time on the deck. The location is also great - quick drive to Moran State Park, Rosario, or Eastsound.

Million Dollar View

As advertised, this is a beautiful home in a quiet country setting. It is near the three highlights of Orcas Island; Moran State Park, Eastsound, and Rosario Resort. And the view, if you do nothing else other than sit and stare out the huge windows it would be a great stay.

Great getaway

Clean, comfortable, well appointed. The only thing I would suggest is comfortable patio furniture to better enjoy the outdoors and the view.

Great Views

This house is very comfortable with all the amenities, but it is the patio that steals the show. Spectacular views to relax, grab a drink, have a conversation and soak in everything the island has to offer.

Beautiful location

Beautiful view and location. Perfect for exploring the eastern side of the island if you have a car. It is best for up to 4 people as the twin pull out bed was not comfortable for the 20 year olds in our family who slept on it.

The View is Astounding

We loved our stay in this house. It's very well cared-for. Kitchen has every utensil and appliance you can imagine. From the living room and deck, we watched the eagles--both golden and bald and drank in the most amazing vista you've ever seen.

Lovely house with spectacular views!

The house was really nice, clean, well stocked, and quiet, the location is perfect, and the view is mind bogglingly amazing. Highly recommend staying here! But a heads up so you don’t find out the hard way -the wood burning stove isn’t actually allowed to be used.
