"The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. "

"Best rental we have stayed in on Cape, and we go every year. Exceptionally clean, comfortable. I can not say enough about it. Great location as well. What stood out the most was the high quality linens, as well as comfortable mattresses. It is very well kept with attention to detail. The grill and appliances were also of a higher quality and made it a pleasure to cook. Will absolutely stay at Blue Pearl again. "

The home is in a very central Cape Cod location making it easy for us to have maximized our vacation to see and enjoy everything from the lower to the upper cape and Martha’s Vineyard. "The check in was easy, the house was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. The electric fireplace was great for warming up after a cold walk on the beach. One thing to note if you are bringing dogs is that when you arrive, there is a sign asking you to try not to leave your dog unattended in the house and the info book says not to let your dogs on the furniture. Both are typically listed on the property description and would have been good to know before booking. "
