Harbourside Haven is set in the popular Sovereign Harbour area of Eastbourne.

There is a driveway space for one car and on the entry floor you'll find a huge living space with patio doors leading to your waterside terrace.

This ground floor living area has a fabulous, contemporary kitchen boasting all the appliances and gadgets you'll need for a self catering stay: oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher - and the all-important L'Or Nespresso coffee machine.

A dining table is set up by a window where you can gaze out over the boats moored in the marina, and there's also a small sofa positioned next to the patio doors.

If the sun is shining - and Eastbourne is officially the UK's sunniest town - then you can enjoy al fresco dining on the two dining sets on the waterside terrace.

Up one flight of stairs and you'll find the lounge cleverly positioned to make the most of the views - especially if you step out on to the balcony. A couple of sofas inside give you the perfect spot to chill out to watch your favourite programme on the smart TV - don't forget your streaming app log ins.

This floor also has one of the flexible bedrooms with a zip and link bed - so it can be set up as a king-size or with two single beds. There is a double wardrobe for your clothes, plus bedside tables and a mirror.

Up another flight of stairs to the top (second) floor and you'll find the master bedroom boasting the water views. This room has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room.

The final bedroom is also on the top floor and is another flexible option - so you can choose for it to be set up as a king-size or with two single beds. Again you've fitted wardrobes, so plenty of space to unpack your holiday finery.

The main bathroom is also on this floor, with a bath and shower over. There's also a handy toilet on the ground floor to save you having to march all the way up during the daytime.

The central 'Waterfront' part of the marina is just an easy stroll away, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from. Just behind this is a retail park, complete with a giant Asda supermarket, Boots pharmacy, TK Maxx, Next, Matalan and various other retailers.

Eastbourne is also within each reach, around four miles along the seafront. There you can book in to see a touring West End show at one of the theatres, take in a film at the Cineworld multiplex or visit the contemporary Towner art gallery.

Head to the seafront and there's plenty of seaside fun to be had. The promenade stretches all the way from Sovereign Harbour to the Holywell part of Eastbourne - just at the foot of the glorious South Downs. Why not rent a kayak or paddleboard - or try other waterports at the nearby centre?
