Relaxing and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to supermarkets and Camelback Resort. We had fun in the game room and liked the 3 tier deck.

Family get a way

Tons of space, great location and beautiful outdoor space. Nice hill on property, we have more time sliding down the hill there than at camel back!

Relaxing Stay

Great time!

My family and I had a great time. The house was beautiful, very spacious, clean, in order and lots of fun things to do in the house and in the community. The host Sharon was great, available when we needed her and made sure our needs were kept up with in our stay. We cannot wait to return again, this will definitely be one of our getaway homes.

We had a great time at this house. Wow! It was definitely built for entertaining. We were happy with all of the amenities available. Between the pool, game room, and the boardgames/puzzles our family was able to have fun rain/shine. We loved that Sharon had a whole list of useful places in the area too. Restaurants, local groceries, and fun activities. :) Sharon was super on top of things - checking in with us and also super responsive, even though she was traveling herself.We appreciated all the guidance she gave us - not only did we know what to do by when, but the rules made a lot of sense and keep the closed community nice for a good experience. Thanks again for letting us stay!!

NYE Family Memories

The host Sharon was a pleasure to interact with. Attentive and responsive. The house was exactly what we needed as a group with adults and children ranging from teens to little kids. The house was well stocked clean and warm when we arrived. The hot tub was set up and ready for us beforehand. My family and I are planning to visit again in warmer weather.

Poconos Vacation DEC 2024

House was very large in size & accommodated 12 of us very well. House needs a little TLC inside with loose moldings, paint, & outside where stair riser lights are located. The property is in a gated/secured community so it made access & ordering deliveries a little inconvenient but host was very helpful with coordination. Overall we had a nice stay & the whole family enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of space

We had three families stay at the house. A total of fourteen adults and kids. There was more than enough space for the kids to have fun, and the adults to relax and chill by the fireplace. The host Sharon was wonderful and hands-on. It was a delightful ski trip and the house was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful home!

The property was exactly as advertised but bigger in person! Sharon has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into her home. Well supplied with essentials and was very clean. She was very communicative, thorough, and took the time to check in with us during our stay. Her attention to detail was extremely evident and made our stay seamless from start to finish. Would definitely recommend for young families and groups of friends.

Great getaway for a family

Our family of 12 people( including 3 kids) enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The property manager was very easy to reach at anytime throughout our stay and was happy to answer all the questions. The house itself is very spacious with lots or entertainment for adults and kids . We didn’t even notice how 3 days passed. The most memorable moment during our stay would probably be 3 deers slowly walking right infront of the house. Kids were screaming with delight. It was super fun and comfortable. Thank you for a great getaway.

Girls weekend!

I cannot express how wonderful Sharon is and how amazing her property is. My girlfriends and I had the best weekend getaway. We were concerned that the weather wouldn’t hold up but that didn’t stop us from having fun, with so much room for activities and the literal activity room she has we were never bored. Whether we’d be hanging in the upstairs living room playing pool or having breakfast at the long dinning room table or even the game room so much fun. And at points that the sun did come out the large deck left all of us plenty of room to lay out and enjoy the pool and spacious hot tub. Will 100000% be booking here again. 10/10 stars!!!

Nice place

House was great. Very roomy. Lots of space. Owner was always available and answered all texts. Hot tub wasn't working. Next day tech was there too fix it. Downfall would be beds. Not the newest and most comfortable at all. Is a slight pain your in a gated community and any uber or delivery has to be told way ahead of time to security.

Great family vacation place

We were 12, 6 kids aged 3-16 and 6 adults. The house had constant entertainment for all. Hot tub for adults, pool for kids, game room with ping pong, card table with cards and chips, football, air hockey and projection TV. There’s Wi-Fi and a pool table. There are a lot of activities in the area but the house was both so relaxing and actively fun so there was no need to explore outside the area of the home. The multiple decks may seem daunting but there are bedrooms on the first floor. The kitchen and dining area are on the same floor. There were minor issues but the response time from the owner was immediate!! She was fantastic at addressing our needs. Throughout the rental process (discussion about the property, contract and monetary commitment, pre-vacation questions and while we were there) Sharon the owner was responsive. She was a pleasure to work with. Totally considering coming back again. Enjoy!

Rundown Frat House

The place was very rundown and even my 9 year old son proclaimed the house "a dump". All of the furniture was stained and so much so that we had to throw sheets over anything we wanted to sit on. The couches in the living room wreaked of disinfectant spray so bad that we could not use them at all (even after throwing comforters over them). The towels were so ratty that we had to go buy our own for the stay. All of the bedrooms are set up like a bunk house. There is no real master bedroom at all. There was a decent gas grill on the deck, but there were no grill tools. I had to flip burgers with a pie server and luckily I had brought our own heating mitts, so I did not burn my hands. Overall, if you are looking for a house set up for people who like to party and don't care for much in the way of amentities, its fine. If you want a luxury getaway for your family, look elsewhere.

Absolutely filthy. It was quite obvious that no cleaning crew had seen the outside of this property in weeks. - When we tried to walk down the stairs of the deck, we were COVERED in spider webs. The entire deck, outside furniture, hot tub and pool area were covered in cobwebs.- There was a huge tree that hung over the railing into the stairway taking up half the stairwell. Completely unsafe.- There were broken deck board and nails everywhere. DO NOT BRING KIDS TO THIS PROPERTY. We could not walk barefoot anywhere on the deck. Deck boards just popped up when we stepped on them. See the pics. - There were several chairs on tables on the second floor and they had so much dirt on them, they were unusable. See pics.- The hot tub was a joke. Had to 30 years old, jets barely worked. - Same with the pool. The area surrounding the pool was littered with garbage. The pool shed looked like something from a horror movie. See Pics. . - After you the sign the contract the owner will provide you with 20 pages of regulations about parking, Noise, garbage, on and on and on. All of this not supplied in the listing, only after you sign. - WORST PART: Tons of TVs all through the house. Every single remote had no batteries or dead batteries. Not a single one worked. AWFUL

Nice house, not the greatest management experience.

The house is definitely capable of sleeping and entertaining a large group- which is great! Amenities- cool, right? Kitchen fairly stocked but, the utensils/pans/bowls/oven and stuff weren't the cleanest. (Heads up: Coffee maker? Not a keurig-bring loose grounds.) If deciding to stay here, consider the house's location & when you're traveling. It's up in the mountains, on windy, steep roads and if traveling in the winter, ensure the host has the driveway plowed when you arrive so you don't have to start your stay shoveling for about two hours. 🙃 Also, the rooms are either pretty hot or freezing cold- plan accordingly. Another point- don't book here if your party has more than 6 drivers (vehicles). You can list up to 12 drivers but township law only allows 6 through the gated community. I had communicated my number of drivers (9) to the host- was assured i was set & all drivers were registered with the gate but... still had to figure out where to leave guests' cars outside of the community & go pick them up to get them to the house... because 3 cars weren't allowed in Penn Estates. That was fun and frustrating! Thanks so much for that, Sharon!

Great vacation home!!

The house was perfect for our family of 10. There was lots to do with the swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong and pool tables and air hockey and other games for the kids. Communication with the owner was great! Any questions we had were answered almost immediately.

House was great, would recommend!

Spent Thursday-Sunday AM here with 10 guys for a friends Bachelor Party where we went nearby to golf (multiple courses in 30 minute radius), breweries and distilleries in the area (Silverback, Down River, to name a few) and remainder of time we spent at the house by the pool, hot tub, BBQ. House was great. The outside amenities (pool, hot tub, grill) and inside amenities (showers, tv's) all functioned properly. Games downstairs were a nice touch. All the rooms and beds allowed us to fit comfortably 10 people and we could have easily fit many more (especially if you have young children). Only knock, which is unavoidable for host, is the front gate security. We nicknamed the area Fort Knox due to how tight it was. When host asks to submit all names and make of vehicles beforehand, make sure you do!! As long as you are in advanced communication with Sharon everything will be handled relatively smoothly and quickly. The issues are only if you have surprises (we ordered Dominos late Friday night, and Ubers early Saturday to go to brewery) which can create frustration as you have to message her via text for ASAP approval or they get denied. They won't even let in pizza :) Overall, great experience. Would recommend!

Nice get away

Property was very well arranged with multi level areas for different age groups which was nice. We enjoyed kids game room as well as full size pool table and hot tub. Bed rooms were excellent size and mattress was very comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked. The only thing that bothered me was that drawers were not cleaned by house keeping. Out door furnitures were not too clean so I had to clean before using. Host was reached easily and informed of this. Otherwise, it was really nice.

Incredible experience

Absolutely loved the house so many amenities we barely had time to get to them all and the goat couldn't be more accommodating and accessable would absolutely stay here again!

Nice place

Easily accommodated the 10 of us. There had been a snow and ice storm the night before and when we arrived the driveway was not plowed nor was the deck shoveled.. we shoveled the deck so we could get to the hot tub. Aside from that it was a good stay
