"The host Kevin was very accommodating during our stay. The cabin and property is beautiful!! We caught plenty of fish in the property lake(crappie,bass, bluegill). We had a great time fishing, hiking, sitting by the fire, grilling food etc. Would definitely return in the future. "This house was very clean and comfortable for our stay! Owner provided everything that we would possibly need for the couple days we were there, and I loved the privacy of the back porch. The communication with the owner was great, explained exactly what needed to be explained and clearly except possibly the off-limits area. "Lakeside Acres has set the highest standard of cleanliness, supplies, communication for a relaxing stay. Everything necessary for a complete vacation is stocked. And if you have your grandkids with you as we did it also acts as a field trip. Having a few vacation cabins of my own I was quite inspired with the endless handcrafted items throughout the property. "Property was beautiful, overlooking the lake, with a nice porch and some chairs to enjoy the view. We actually met the owner in person while our son was riding his bike, and had a lovely conversation with him...and later during our stay our son played for a bit with his grandson, which was awesome. Home met our needs for my somewhat handicapped father, with 2 entrances and 2 steps to enter (smaller step on the porch and to enter through the slider). Jim went above and beyond by laying down...

"Very cozy, quiet and conveniently located. Close to a variety of activities in neighboring towns. We checked in on Thanksgiving Day and made a short drive to visit family. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable! Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. The hosts even provided fresh eggs from their chickens for our breakfast. "
