We were so looking forward to our stay at this home. However, upon arrival, we noticed that the basement had flooded. There were a few fans running around the room, so someone was aware of this problem and did not address it, or notify us. It took us 4 hours on the phone to finally get the problem addressed and resolved with VRBO customer service. The host did finally contact us several hours later after we had left the home and found a hotel. Apparently there was an issue with a broken phone? And the cleaning personnel and site manager did not address it. We were refunded our money and made whole on the difference in the hotel price which was fair. Other than the flooding issue we felt that the home was nice and were sad that we were not able to stay there.
