Overall we enjoyed our stay, especially the pool.We found the beds uncomfortably soft and the bed pillows need replacing. Only one lamp in the living room made reading difficult at night.

The best vacation home for our July month stay!

This property is even better/more spacious in person than the listing! Bedrooms were large, outside area was perfect for BBQ dinners and lounging by the pool, Kitchen was well stocked for cooking plating and serving meals. Sheila was amazing as a host, if we had any questions I could text her and get a response within the hour and the weekly cleaning service was such a lovely bonus for us and for refreshing towels and sheets. House is great for couples, friends, or families with children. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would love to return!

Great place to spend a weekend

We had a group of 7 and the home comfortably fit all of us. We stayed for Memorial Day weekend, so the pollen from the trees in the backyard was heavy. Pool had to be cleaned everyday and deck had to be swept. Not sure if it’s always like that, but was a bit annoying. Communication with the host was great - very responsive and reasonable. Would stay again!

Emptynesters Part 4

This is the 4th year 3 couples have gone away together for an extra long weekend. Weather was awful!!! But house, location and that pool were great. For the first time ever we had a heated pool that was just that. Homeowner totally accessible. House had what we needed. We had each other.

Great house for our family.

This was an ideal setting for my family of 7 ( my 2 adult children, their partners, and my two grandchildren). The pool was beautiful and set at a comfortable temperature. The kids spent hours swimming and their parents enjoyed being in the pool as well! The deck also has a nice large BBQ that we used to grill our dinners most nights. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and dishes. It is a nice set up such that several of us were able to prepare meals together. The table seats 8 comfortably and the countertop with stools for 4 made it possible for me to invite my sister and brother-in-law for dinner too. We were able to enjoy playing board games at the table. When we lost power for a short time, Sheila answered her phone right away and was going to reach out to her electrician. As it turned out, the electricity came back on shortly afterward. Cell service in the area was intermittent for Verizon, and not working for ATT phones. However the internet worked well in the house. This is a comfortable house which worked out very well for us.

California Visits the Hamptons

Very pleasant stay. Pictures were as described Sheila was very helpful in the prep. Book was helpful regarding local locations and restaurant. Check out for garbage was clear. Pretty surroundings. Lovely neighborhood.

Easy in East Hampton

The house was perfect for our stay. The house was set up to have guests, without having items you would be scared to break. It is in a good location, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool is very nice with a low area for the little ones. My family had an enjoyable time

The Hamptons with toddlers

This home was perfect for our group with two toddlers. They loved playing ball in the yard and throwing some of the many rocks. They also were excited when a deer wandered through the backyard! Sheila was extremely accommodating and responsive. I really enjoyed communicating with her for all our needs. A beautiful weekend away from the city!

Beautiful Woodsy Retreat

We enjoyed celebrating my wife’s 50th in this cozy house. It’s a terrific place in a woodsy neighborhood within walking distance of a nice beach on the back bay - a short drive to East Hampton and about 20 minutes from Montauk where we met friends who live there.. The deck outside is private and makes a great place to BBQ / the pool is beautiful although it was too cold in April for swimming - nice fireplace in the living room and a great kitchen where we cooked meals. Beds were comfy and it was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. I hope to stay there again. Thanks Shiela!

Pool unavailable, micro dust in entire house

It seems like this property has not been booked in some time, and many things were wrong with it right when we got there. Owner didn't specify pool was not available in listing nor upon messaging when it was clear we intended to use the pool. Once we got there, we were locked out for three hours as there were no directions how to get in. Once we got in, we saw there were practically no resources for us so we had to leave to buy firewood and soap as none were provided. The price is not justified for a stay without a pool or basic amenities. My wife's birthday was ruined due to these very basic facts that were listed. The house was also covered in a fine dust, due to no one using it I'm assuming and no cleaner vaccumed beforehand. Our asthma was triggered immediately and we had to open all the windows in the house. At night it got cold, so we turned on the heater. This exacerbated our asthma as more dust came out of the vents, presumably unused again for quite some time. The wifi also didn't work and when I contacted the owner she gave us the same wifi password listed the book which did not work. When I asked her again I was ignored. Will not be coming back.

Relaxing getaway

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is equipped with everything you need and the host is very attentive. Very close to town and many points of interest. The pool was very nice and my kids played in it everyday. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away!

East Hampton house with a pool

My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway to relax and we definitely got that at this house. There is a nice large pool with deck for great outdoor time that we enjoyed. Their kitchen is updated. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Close drive to eateries and shop. The owner, Sheila, responded quickly and was helpful.
