Disappointed
The property itself is nice and the location is great, but the management of the property was extremely disappointing. When we arrived the kitchen was infested with fruit flies that came from a bag of trash that had been left in the kitchen. Not just a few - they were everywhere. That plus the cobwebs and crumbs all over the kitchen made it clear that it hadn't been cleaned, which is ridiculous considering I'm sure all of their guests pay an obscene cleaning fee.
We contacted mgmt immediately with videos and pictures and they just kept replying by text that they would contact the local team and get back to us, but after three days of battling the flies, it was check out time and still no proper response.
There are multiple reviews online and in their guestbook that note that the picture on the listing of the canoe/kayaks is misleading because guests can't use them, yet they still include that picture. The yard and pond are beautiful but other than the fire pit there is nothing to do back there, so bring your own lawn games, kayaks, etc.
Other notes for future guests so they can plan ahead - linens are included, and there are plenty of towels and beach towels. There are only 2 beach chairs. There is no working hair dryer. Only one bedroom has a TV. This wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others.
We had a great weekend, but would select a different property in the future, and would probably try to avoid Vacasa given their lack of proper response.
