  • Situated on the pristine North East Coast at Cooten Bay This one-bedroom house offers an amazing panoramic view over the islands and beaches on this, still largely undeveloped, side of Tortola. The style of Cooten House is modern Caribbean with a tasteful collection of out of the ordinary furnishings and art-deco pieces lending a slightly 'retro' feel to this peaceful and beautiful location.

    The large and airy kitchen/living room comes well equipped with modern, high-end stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry and hardwood counter tops as well as huge vintage industrial lights, Driftwood table, antique cupboards and a comfortable, stylish sitting area. With a high quality Bose sound system and a large LCD TV hooked up to cable and other A/V equipment the house has been carefully designed and equipped to be a relaxing, comfortable home.

    In the bedroom is a custom made queen size and the bathroom features a lovely old marble sink from a Turkish bath house. Outside is a large covered balcony, pergola and sunken sun deck with a 156 jet Hot Tub complete with waterfalls and LED lighting.The house sits on a private 1/2 acre lot.

    Cooten House overlooks the Cootens Bay, a renowned surf break in the winter months. Close by are two beautiful secluded golden sand beaches, Rogues bay and Trunk Bay.

This was an absolute perfect stay. I don’t think I’ve spent more time soaking in a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the decor, as well as all of the details, and thought put into this place. Jeremy was very attentive and helpful. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very thoughtfully laid out property that had beautiful views of the island and ocean. It's a very secluded property but it has everything you could need. The breeze keeps the bugs away and makes the lounging on the porch or inside equally comfortable with how easy it was to open up the windows. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation. We took the provided foldable beach chairs and towels with us to every beach all over the island. Rouges Bay and Trunk Bay are in arms reach of this property- both were the best beaches on the entire island if you want a more secluded experience/ to get away from people!

The accommodation is lovely. Great welcome from House Manager and felt totally at home and relaxed from the moment we arrived. Gorgeous view from the wrap around balcony and hot tub. Furniture/fittings are quirky, but it totally works in this home and location.You do need to hire a car to explore the island.We really felt very special and privileged to have stayed in this home.Already planning to return next year

Stayed April 15 - 22, 2026. Cooten House is spectacular! Views are amazing! Cover from wind and potential rain is very good. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for 7 nights. The open air layout was wonderful during the day and night. Jeremy was a very responsive and helpful host for our first visit to Tortola and the BVI's. We would have been lost without his advice. He also provided many great tips on restaurants and things to do.All in all a great place to visit! We highly recommend it and will be back again! 10/10

What stood out to us most was the initial impression, mood and vibe set by Samuel, the house manager, in addition to the breathtaking views from the home! We were so appreciative of Jeremy's communication and checking in on us to make sure everything was going well. We were thankful to have a car, a definite necessity on the island in order to explore all there was to offer. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This was hands-down the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect…not a small feat! Our host was very reachable, and helped out whenever we asked a question. The house and location are better than the pictures.

My husband and I stayed at the Cooten House for 9 nights. We were met by Sam after we landed and he had us follow him to the house to make sure we were settled in. Jeremy followed up with texts to make sure we were comfortable. This certainly made us feel welcome and was a great start to an absolutely wonderful stay at this property.We loved the privacy, the quirky decor, and the view. If you are looking for a unique place in Tortola then this is the place.

The house and views were absolutely incredible. On top of that Jeremy was an excellent host and was always available to answer any questions we had as it was our first time on the island. We were very glad the AC worked so well in the bedroom as we traveled in August so it was very hot out!

Such a hidden gem! We stayed a week at Jeremy's Cooten House and had a lovely time. With a rental 4wd, we were able to easily explore the beaches of west end by day and escape to this secluded haven for evening relaxation. We cooked almost 100% of our meals thanks to the well stocked kitchen and grill. The elevation not only provides pristine views, but excellent ventilation which cools the home and keeps mosquitoes etc minimal. I highly recommend this rental for an adventurous couple who appreciates natural beauty and staying far from the madding crowd.We also recommend looking into nearby Goodmoon Farm for fresh fish and fruit/ veg and herbs before spending money at the big shops. We had a box ready for us after discussing by email.

Beautiful house

We loved staying here. The house had everything we needed. It was very clean and so nicely decorated and landscaped. Such a great breeze on the deck and the view is spectacular. Jeremy was very helpful with recommendations of places to see. We would love to stay here again.

The view was beautiful from the deck and hot tub. We slept comfortably in the air conditioned bedroom. Had some grill and stove issues with having no gas but was able to talk with property manager and got that resolved.
