"Spent 2 nights at St.Georges purely to go shopping at Gun Wharf. Accommendation is only a 3 minute walk away so is perfect for what we wanted. The accommendation was extremely clean and had everything we needed, there was spare shampoo and had tea/coffee/ biscuits and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which was a lovely gesture. "This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. "This is a perfect place from which to explore the entire area, including Stonehenge in Salisbury which is easily reachable via the train just across the street, as are local ferries and buses.
