"The only factor in favour for the hotel is the history and the period property. It needs sprucing up the exterior and somewhat the interior. Room can get hot despite not south face. Breakfast was too slow and so we left without having the main item , 40 minutes after entering.They wrote that breakfast is leisurely but it could be putting a spin on the low staffing.Reception personnel are not quite welcoming or service like.."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. This is a badly maintained HMO, not guest house. I saw 4 broken windows. The flooring is awful - bare cement outside our room. Our room had no curtains. There was a constantly running tap into a sink outside our room. To top it off, the keypad lock was broken, so when we returned to our room at midnight, we couldn't get back in. No response from the emergency helpline then. Still no response now, 16 hours later. The emergency locksmith I called hadn't arrived after...

"Llegue a la habitación (que habia reservado y pagado) y había ya otra persona aojada en mi habitación! Nunca tuve asistencia de nadie, no me contestaron. Y al otro huesped le dijeron que se quedara ahi. Tuve que volver a revervar en ese momento en otro lado porque no habia habitaciones disponibles."

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"Very comfortable & clean accommodation. Forgotten something, it's probably available in the room or from Wendy. Highly recommended with eateries available within half a mile and peaceful, considering its proximity to some major roads"

"A fantastic BnB, the owner has done a great job creating a really nice property here that also has a cool laid-back vibe as well as all the amenities you could wish for. Couldn’t have been more helpful as a host too - wish we’d stayed longer but as we were on a tour round the island we only had one night!"
